The Editory House Ribeira Porto Hotel in Porto

We had a great stay at Editory House Ribeira Porto. The location is perfect—just a 2-minute walk to the riverfront, making it ideal for exploring the area and enjoying the views.

The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The room itself was very spacious and clean, which made our stay comfortable.

Overall, a highly convenient and pleasant place to stay in Porto.

Gem of a hotel with really friendly staff and great amenities

I really enjoyed my stay here recently. Location is excellent and my room was lovely. Very clean and great bathroom. Staff very really helpful and friendly. Really appreciate the water every day. Breakfast was great too, though the hot food was never hot. The complimentary port and pastel de nata first day was such a lovely surprise. Highly recommend. Also quiet (I had internal room).

Rooms were very clean and the staff was so nice. Really enjoyed my stay. The location was ideal for us first time visitors.

Clean room and bathroom. Window didn't shut properly which meant we could hear the street noise. Convenient location.

The pros are the location, the cleanliness, and they cleaned and changed the towels every day!

And now the cons.

When I checked in, they asked me for my card number as a deposit! And not just the number and expiration date, but also three digits on the back, so I could tell them... Are you serious? This is completely confidential information! I can enter the code myself when purchasing something, but I can't share it with anyone! And no one has the right to demand this from me! I tried with great difficulty to explain this to the young man at the reception; they spent about 10 minutes convincing me, and finally they agreed.

Actually, why doesn't anyone here write about this in the comments? This is abnormal.

Furthermore, the room was missing a toothbrush, toothpaste, hair conditioner, and a robe (the room description says all of these are included). I mentioned this at reception. Half an hour later, they brought everything except the robe. I decided it wasn't included after all. And lo and behold, on the last day of my stay, they brought it to me. As they say, better late than never. And the refrigerator didn't cool. They replaced it the next day. I don't think that should happen at a 4-star hotel.
And one more thing. I noticed that everyone was offered port wine upon check-in. I wasn't even offered any. Apparently because I didn't give my bank card details.

Great location in Riveira, Porto.

Basement room assignment. No parking. Cannot park in front of the hotel.
Just so-so for a 4-star hotel. Breakfast is a bit poor. Parking lots nearby are too expensive. Parking is not recommended.
