The staff here is amazing! Everyone we met was very friendly, but Peter especially stood out to us. He really took care of us during check-in and made sure we had reservations in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. He really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel also looks gorgeous, and the food was delicious.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again.

My partner surprised me with a two-night stay here—it was my first time here, and I loved every minute. The staff couldn't do enough, and it's already beyond 3-star standards. Honestly, I can't wait to go back. They were so welcoming, we felt so well looked after, and the facilities were perfect!

My stay at the Limerick City Hotel was fantastic! My friend and I got a room at a great price. The room itself was spotless, but by far the best feature was the gentleman who greeted us when we arrived – Marian. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. And I had a great conversation with my friend and I. There was another gentleman, I didn't quite catch his name, but he was also lovely and extremely polite. 😊

The only thing that affected my experience is that in the room there was no smart TV in room 309.So that means we couldn't not Netflix as we planned.Beside that everything was great.

Wouldn’t recommend. Apart from construction in the building, the staff showed no consideration and would regularly bang a service door into my door. I spent more time out of this hotel than in it.

Very disappointed booked a table based on online menu. Arrived to find out only reduced xmas menu available left to eat elsewhere. Disappointed visitors from South Wales.

We ate here a few times. Even though service can be slow at times, servers are always pleasant. We always get the ribs/belly or steak and we always enjoy those. Lovely view. Nice and quiet ambiance.

Help shut this place down, I made a review on tripadvisor against this so called restaurant. This place was terrible, never ever order the burger and what you have in chips was about 4 of them. The manager was a control freak, never let you enjoy your food, always creeping around. I will never go near this place again and i recommend you do the same. Poor food, poor management. All in all just poor. RUN FOR THE HILLS.

Made reservation by leaving message on voice mail but never received any response so had to ring again to make reservation. Food was average but expensive for what it was. Lettuce in starter far from fresh and food was barely warm when served. Despite having coffee instead of a desert which was included in set price I was charged extra also. Water bottle left empty on table during meal. Would not return unfortunately.

This is in my opinion one of the best places to eat in Limerick! The waiter service is fantastic all fully trained and professional. The food here is of a very high standard. The kitchen staff are totally on the ball here. There's effort, time and attention given to the food and it's always done to such a high standard and presented beautifully. It's a place to bring someone to impress. The prices are very good and there's bar service. The maitre D here is so charismatic and the ambiance just right. My husband and I are regulars here and don't tire of the food. Would highly recommend Hampton's Grill Limerick.

This is the second time we have been here and it would be our favourite restaurant in limerick. The food is top notch with a large varied menu and a good value 3 course menu. The staff were really nice and helpful also.

Some people will love it, others not. I didn't. The service is a little too stiff for what is essentially an upper range casual dining experience. The staff behaved as if they were upstairs in the Savoy. It was only 5pm and would've preferred a more relaxed approach.
I was not impressed with the food either, over flavoured and over priced.
The waiting staff may be over trained, the chefs were not.

Excellent lunch. Three courses for €20. I had potato and celeriac soup (delicious) and my wife had satay chicken skewers. Mains were hake fillet and bacon. Pavlova and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Portion sizes were just right, leaving room for the wonderful dessert. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

Had nice romantic meal with my wife here. Staff were efficient. Had delicious bang bang chicken for starter and we'll cooked tasty rack of lamb for main. The deserts were not of same high standards as other courses.
The menu fonts/colours should be changed to make them easier to read in the low lighting.
