The stay was amazing, my girlfriend and myself loved every second of the stay. The staff were all so lovely. We went for a morning Spa and I had Courtney I believe for a hot stone massage. She did an amazing job and was very polite and nice to speak to. 10/10 stay and we look forward to staying again. Also met and had a chat with who I believe might be the Spa manger (forgive me I forgot his name) and he was very nice, had a nice little chat when we crossed paths after he was helping another customer. I had a lovely one-night stay as a birthday treat. I got a nice deal on b&b with an evening meal, so it was great value. The whole place was lovely and comfortable. The spa area is fab with a lovely outdoor jacuzzi, the room was comfy and quiet, the restaurant served lovely food (my only criticism would be that when I ordered a drink with my meal I had to wait a while as it came from the bar, in a separate part of the hotel), the staff were all lovely, and the little walk out back is really charming. There's outdoor seating aswell so I imagine a summer evening would be well spent there with a relaxing drink.

Rooms spacious and very clean, large king bed was two beds pushed together and found the middle bit uncomfy at times. Great service in the restaurant and reception very pleasant and helpful. Food was delicious. Location nice and quiet and only 7mins drive from city centre but not a lot nearby. Would stay again no worries

I don’t normally write reviews but I stayed here for my birthday weekend and genuinely couldn’t fault a thing.

We were welcomed with a complimentary “Happy Birthday” plate and card in the room, which was such a thoughtful touch. The spa and leisure facilities are spectacular, and I had so many friendly encounters with other guests who were clearly enjoying their stay as well. The warm, relaxed atmosphere made it so easy to unwind.

Every member of staff I spoke to was friendly, welcoming, and supportive. This was especially true in the Quench Bar, where we were very generously compensated for a longer-than-usual wait for food. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name, but my boyfriend and I were incredibly grateful and genuinely shocked by his generosity.

I will definitely be staying here again. Thanks to everyone.

A wonderful stay from start to finish. The lobby was cosy and welcoming, setting the tone as soon as we arrived. A special mention has to go to Fred in the bar — he was absolutely fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made the evenings even more enjoyable. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and relaxed, and the service was excellent. We felt very well looked after and would happily return. Highly recommended!

Bad experience overall, parking was a joke, cars abandoned in the car park as there was a Santa party on. Staff didn’t feel experienced enough especially when ordering dinner. Quality of food was poor

The hallway carpet was old and worn out.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food and service were excellent.
