Village Hotel Bugis by Far East Hospitality in Singapore

I saw some really bad reviews beforehand, so I was a bit worried. But it actually turned out pretty good when I got there! Much better than I expected, and the room was clean. The shower had great water pressure, which was really nice. Overall, I think it was decent. Not sure why the reviews were so negative.

Check in and check out was fast and hassle free. The front desk lady Ms. Ivy is friendly and clear in explaining.
This time the room assigned to us was smaller than the previous one though more expensive.
The view is excellent but regret that the window glass was dirty and makes the window glass looks "foggy".
All in all, will still come back to this hotel if the hotel or trip. com have any promotion.

It's a pretty standard hotel, quite old, and the facilities are a bit dated. However, its excellent location makes up for it; it's convenient for getting anywhere and very close to the subway, which is a big plus.

Location is good, pretty good food choice around, specially Turkish and Lebanese food. Haji Ln full of youth. Sultan mosque at the corner, 10mins walk to Bugis junction if you like Chinese food and shopping.

I want to say big thanks to Village Hotel Bugis, for such a wonderful and thoughtful hospitality. We're here for my Son 9th birthday trip. I asked for a little room decoration and this nice guy do it for us in a very extra miles. Some lovely young staffs also knocked our door and brought us slice of rainbow cake! Thank you! Dear management team, Please raise their salary.

Room is clean, with king bed size, 4 options pillow to soft - firm. Cool AC, has large window, bathroom well equipped with jet shower (so important for Indonesians), also bathtub!

Location was perfect, 7 mins walk to Bugis MRT, try to walk to the right after hotel lobby and explore Haji Lane & Arab Street!

Will back to this hotel for sure.

The hotel was better than expected. Although from the outside it doesn’t look like much. The staff couldn’t be anymore friendly or accommodating. The room was incredibly spacious and clean. All facilities were well kept and available to use.
The location was ideal and easy to get around. I’d highly recommend.

Although the building appears slightly dated, the facilities are well-maintained and function perfectly fine, ensuring guests still enjoy a pleasant and comfortable stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating — they provided smooth assistance during check-in and were very helpful in arranging a taxi to the airport. My room was spacious, clean, and cozy, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a long day exploring the city. Another highlight is that tap water is safe to drink, which adds an extra layer of convenience for travelers.

Considering its strategic location, room quality, and level of service, the room rate is quite reasonable and well worth the price. Overall, Village Hotel Bugis delivers an excellent stay experience that balances comfort, accessibility, and value — definitely a hotel I would recommend for anyone visiting Singapore.
