Elizeu Hotel in Bucharest

The only convenient thing of this hotel is that is close to the railway station if you need to travel early in the morning, the rest is horrible. From rude receptionists that barely inform, to huge amount of noise. There is no insulation at all. You can hear every single noise from the next rooms, even the vibrations of phones! The doors from the rooms are super old and didn't seem in good condition, the locks suspicious. You can hear everything from the hallway too. Most guests seemed to be crazy, everyone yelling and slamming doors at all times. No air conditioning, which wouldn't be too bad with the night breeze (there are also mosquito nets in the windows so good) but then the noise is unbearable. Even with earplugs it was impossible to sleep.
The mattress was horrible and there was no good position to sleep comfortably. Never staying here in my life and I don't recommend anyone to stay here

The location next to train station was handy. Except that trains honk every time they arrive, so can't sleep window open even with earplugs 😅 That concluded to hot room without air conditioning.

Thin walls, could hear everything from other rooms. 2cm gap in the door, so also could hear everything from the hallway. Not very cleaned, a lot of dust in bathroom.

Can't recommend except if you don't mind sleeping in hot room and noise.

I had one of the worst hotel experiences here.

Last night I asked the staff if the air conditioning was working. The answer I got was: “It’s too cold outside, the AC doesn’t work.” Later, when I asked for help in my room, the staff simply told me to open the window. As soon as I did, I got bitten by mosquitoes — on both of my hands and on my face. My left hand and left cheek had severe allergic reactions, and I could not sleep the entire night.

To make things worse, the receptionist even said: “And what else can I do?” — which is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional.

I specifically booked this hotel because it was advertised as having air conditioning. In reality, the AC was not available, and instead, I was left with mosquito bites, allergies, and a sleepless night. I paid over 200 lei per night, only to have my health put at risk. This is completely unacceptable.

If you value honesty, professionalism, and basic comfort, I strongly advise you to avoid this hotel.
