Marosejka 2/15 Hotel in Moscow

+ I'm giving it 3 stars. The location is excellent, right next to the metro. There's a minimart, pub, drug store, and supermarket within walking distance. I went with my sister and her boyfriend. We stayed in a twin bed + extra bed room. The room was spacious, the twin beds were comfortable, but the extra bed was a bit hard. We got an attic room.
- The less-than-ideal experiences were: 1. We were given a room on the 4th floor with no elevator. Everyone had one large suitcase and one carry-on bag, and there was no service or assistance to help carry them. 2. Travel cards and credit cards weren't accepted at the time or you need to have russian credit card, so we had to pay cash. The staff didn't have change, and we had just arrived without any smaller bills. We ended up getting three pairs of slippers as change (200 rubles). So, prepare the exact amount of cash if you plan to go. 3. The water heater in the room wasn't working well. It would stay on, but the water would fluctuate between hot and cold, scalding us several times. After walking around all day in freezing temperatures, we wanted a warm bath, but the water turned brown, so we couldn't use it. 4. The room's heating and cooling weren't consistent. We kept waking up because of the heat – sometimes our heads were sweaty, sometimes we felt cold and our throats were irritated. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it unless you are able to choose a floor and do not have much luggage. However, you should weigh the pros and cons mentioned above before making your decision.

+ Location Cleanliness
- I lived at room 1st floor room . There was noise from the bars and cafes outside and tried to change room during my 5-days stay but all rooms were full.

+ The location of the hotel was very good.
- The service was not upto the mark and the person sitting at the reception does not even understand basic English and he was also rude. Also there was not staff to carry the luggage.
