While traveling through the Khibiny Mountains, we stopped at the Emergency Situations Ministry station and stayed at the Kuelporr Hotel. The station has signs with distances to nearby settlements - they say they help cure "topographical ignorance".

Hotel Kuelporr has become an excellent place to relax after a busy day. Simple but cozy rooms, a warm atmosphere and incredible views of the surrounding mountains made our stay here comfortable. Near the hotel there are beautiful routes, the famous Krasivy waterfall and Lake Shchuchye. If you have a well-prepared SUV, then you can drive further to Umbozero.

This is an absolutely amazing place. With the complete absence of competitors (except for tents, of course), the guys take everything very seriously. I can say that the food here is better than in Azimuth in Murmansk.

There is beauty all around, the owners of the base, Dmitry and his wife, are wonderful people, very clean, there is hot water with good pressure, excellent food upon request. If you cook yourself, they let you into the kitchen, and the cook Vyacheslav very kindly helps. There are also wonderful dogs living at the base. If they like you, they will go to the radial with you :)

If a roof over your head is the main criterion for convenience, and the view around is what you came here for, then everything is ok. You won't be disappointed. The hotel is better, but more expensive, the rescuers are cheaper, but easier))
