The on-site restaurant was a good addition, offering both dine-in and room service options. We had breakfast there for 900 RUB per person, which was satisfying with a decent selection of dishes
A charming detail was the welcome drink upon arrival: Ivan Chai (a local herbal tea) served with regional berries, which added a thoughtful, authentic touch to our stay
A particularly convenient feature was the induction hob and cookware, which allowed us to prepare meals whenever we wanted - a nice perk not always available in hotels
Location-wise, the hotel is very practical, situated close to the funicular that takes you up to Big Wood Ski Resort - ideal for those planning to hit the slopes
Hotel Sokroma Hyperborea is a pleasant and comfortable option for travelers visiting Kirovsk, especially considering the city's smaller size
The room was cozy and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a hassle-free stay

The breakfast is decent, but you'll need to go to the hotel next door. It's suitable for those coming to ski in the Khibiny Mountains or for short business trips, as long as premium service isn't required
The Pik Hotel is generally good—it's conveniently located for exploring Kirovsk, has clean rooms, and the staff is friendly. However, the room was slightly smaller than in the photo
Keep in mind that you need a vaccination certificate or prc test, otherwise they will not accept.
I liked everything. Good place and excellent location. Helpful staff.
When I went, the building was under renovation and the formaldehyde levels were very high. There was no front desk; I had to go to another hotel about 500 meters away to check in, which was very inconvenient
Also, there were no elevators, only stairs

At night you can see the Northern lights! A fair choice, in the format of "buffet", this is the choice that everyone will find a dish to taste

Nice hotel, decent rooms, very good breakfast and the most helpful staff. The sauna and washing of clothes are simply a must. I have never met such low prices.
I was in the sauna. Steamed perfectly. Hot water was a little short. Something with a boiler. In general, everything is not bad. We use it often.
On Christmas night dinner included champagne!) And after dinner on the street it was possible to observe the luxurious Northern lights! From the ski lift a short walk. Next - best ski resort of the Khibiny
Water smell, but the staff is great, food is good, the morning Breakfast buffet, but dinner can be nepodaleku 5 minutes in the canteen of the "5 tables". There is generally cheap (50 RUB - a-bag)

Between the stove and the sink, you should put a table on which it would be convenient to put dirty or washed dishes, so you have to put everything on the stove or in the sink and prevent others from cooking / washing
Finally, shave out the old dishes and bought new ones, but, unfortunately, with so many tenants and the inability to eat in the city cafes in the evening, there is not enough dishes for everyone who wants to cook
Plus, some guests cook something and take the pots with them. Therefore, the owners of the Sport should buy a couple more sets of dishes, boards, knives and forks (which I did not find in the kitchen at all)
Excellent, considering the price-quality criterion. A comfortable hotel, the repair rooms are very good, without repair, too, quite imagined, only the bathroom with the repair is much better
After the slope, I coped with my task of sleep with a bang. I really liked the breakfasts, tasty and satisfying, every day different. Very friendly and helpful staff
We received a polite and hospitable welcome with a large well-bred dog. Hot water in the tap did not pour out soon, but this is not surprising in the off-season

This is an absolutely amazing place. With the complete absence of competitors (except for tents, of course), the guys take everything very seriously. I can say that the food here is better than in Azimuth in Murmansk.
Simple but cozy rooms, a warm atmosphere and incredible views of the surrounding mountains made our stay here comfortable. Near the hotel there are beautiful routes, the famous Krasivy waterfall and Lake Shchuchye
If you cook yourself, they let you into the kitchen, and the cook Vyacheslav very kindly helps. There are also wonderful dogs living at the base. If they like you, they will go to the radial with you :)
The station has signs with distances to nearby settlements - they say they help cure "topographical ignorance". Hotel Kuelporr has become an excellent place to relax after a busy day
There is beauty all around, the owners of the base, Dmitry and his wife, are wonderful people, very clean, there is hot water with good pressure, excellent food upon request
While traveling through the Khibiny Mountains, we stopped at the Emergency Situations Ministry station and stayed at the Kuelporr Hotel

This is a nice hotel well situated in Kirovsk. Well, if any place is in the downtown section, it is well situated. The room was fine and had a minibar so I got get some water. The buffet was fine as well.
Hotel fine for price. However Wifi very unstable. Breakfast only after 7h45 am.
i did not hate this hotel but rooms have to be restaured

Gornitsa and Fortuna's staff are very flexible and service-minded. We had to change our plans and they could arrange it for us. We really enjoyed the hotel sauna
I'm not a very big fan of billiards but still we played a couple of times as there was a possibility to do that at the hotel. You can meet folks from other countries over a beer or watch a football game with your friends
The hotel is probably not the cheapest option to stay in Kirovsk but if you are looking for a home-like feeling, smaller hotels with a bit better service then that is exactly what you are looking for
I've been to Kirovsk many times both for vacation and business and stayed at 4 different hotels. Khibiny (2004, 2008, 2011), Ekos (2005), Severnaya (2006) and Gornitsa (2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011)
Taxis are cheap even if you go to the Big Wood slopes on the other side of the mountain facing the city center. There is a tourist company Fortuna Tour that can arrange snow mobile safaris and guided tours for you
Gornitsa became my favorite after the first visit in 2007. We contacted them via their English contact form on the website and got a fast reply confirming our booking

Went with a friend to the pool. There also is a sauna and Hamam. Sympathetic and friendly personnel. A physical (free!) before attending. After swimming I drank tea with a bun in the dining room
