Where to stay in Murmansk Region

The location in the city center is very convenient. There is a short-haired girl named Katerina at the front desk. She speaks good English and helped me make several phone calls to customers. I would like to commend her.

This is the 52nd city I have visited in Russia in the past 5 years. I have walked the Trans-Siberian Railway from south to north and from east to west, stayed in B&Bs and resorts in Sochi. The overall location of Cosmo is OK, located in the center of Murmansk. Although it is not the center, it is very convenient to go to some places. The facilities are definitely a little old compared to those in China...

The room size is satisfactory. There is a medium-sized supermarket about 600 meters away from the hotel, and it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the northernmost McDonald's. The supermarket is as shown in the picture.

Hotel towels are not changed every day. There is breakfast on the 2nd floor, which is good for a casual meal. Checked in in the early morning, very smooth. The front desk will give you a list in Chinese, marking the breakfast time and location, gym, laundry room, etc., which is good.

It is considered a relatively good hotel in Murmansk. We stayed in a double suite which was quite large. The price/performance ratio is very high, not inferior to the best hotels in Murmansk.

The bed is very small. It is displayed as a four-star hotel, but in reality it is not even as good as a two-star hotel in China. Many tour groups are very crowded, it is recommended to book other ones early. Average location, hard to find a place to eat

The room is just great to my taste: comfortable bed, everything is sparkling clean, even the bathroom and shower area. It's spacious enough for 1 person and also very quiet. The room I stayed in had a nice view, two single beds, and the heating was a little insufficient, probably because I didn't know how to turn it on. It was close to the station and the supermarket downstairs. The price might be a little high because I booked it at short notice. The room was about the same as in China, around 200-300. We lived in a cottage with our own parking place just beside. The cottage was very clean and luxurus. The staff reacted quickly when the water was switched off. The continental breakfast was spartan. The security felt high. We will recommend to live in this cottages.

Great place to stay outside Murmansk. You can embrace the nature and the wilderness. Sometimes the food is great, sometimes just Ok.

A hidden gems for Murmansk, nice lock homes but not that warm in the room (outside -20c) the water system is from underground so it’s a bit difficult to wash your hand without water splash everywhere. But overall the stay was great. The hotel is very helpful on the issue that I’ve lose my immigration paper. The first day we arrived the food was not good. But the day after the food was so great.

Nice location, living among trees

Everything is good, but the impression is spoiled by the parking lot. To be more precise, the security that monitors it. Will do for one night. The room is clean, linen and towels are fresh. In the kitchen there is a kettle, a couple of glasses, a refrigerator, a sink. The area is quiet, but there is no soundproofing between the room and the stairwell. Far from the city center, the room is cool, knowingly there is a heater. Of the dishes, only glasses and a decanter. There is no plate.

Good apartment type hotel. The rooms are actually former apartments. But no buffet, of course, but only a rather meager menu. Moreover, none of your wishes on the menu will be taken into account by the staff. Whatever you give, eat. This is a fat minus.

Beautiful view silence and swimming pool in door but far to center

It’s very nice location a bit outside of the city. The panoramic view of the restaurant is really great but food not so. Accommodations are acceptable. For this city it’s a nice place to stay.

Excellent team. The staff took good care of all the little demands of the clients who were travelling with me during our aurora hunting tour. We stayed here for 3 nights and it is Perfect for group travel and all rooms / amenities are new so it's a lot better than other 4 star hotels we tried in Murmansk city!

We lived in a suite, I liked the studio - comfortable furniture, thoughtful lighting and sockets. Freshly renovated, massage jets in the shower. The hotel staff is friendly, cleanliness is good. Guesthouse for one night. Purely. We had a superior room. Superior because the bed is double. Breakfast without much abundance. A choice of porridge / pasta / scrambled eggs, also instant coffee, tea bags black / green. Drinks are served with a sandwich/casserole. My husband liked the porridge. The hotel is nothing to stop you. But I was in a period when there was no heating and it is all spoiled.... had to go to bask in the Mug... push-UPS and pull, turn on the warm water in the bathroom! Generally fun! Photos do not do cold.

Start with the fact that the hotel in which you stay mainly shift workers. Those that drop out to work still holding, and those that watch home, they're disgusting, hence the conclusion, when I see in the way of a bunch of alcoholics. So what with children and all family better to look at other options.

I like everything, clean and warm. Finally, shave out the old dishes and bought new ones, but, unfortunately, with so many tenants and the inability to eat in the city cafes in the evening, there is not enough dishes for everyone who wants to cook. Double rooms for 1 bathroom, there is a separate kitchen on the 4th floor with microwave, kettle and stove. The rooms have a built-in natural refrigerator under the window sill, where you can store food in winter, there is a TV. Breakfast in the dining room from 8 to 11. The hotel is clean, cosmetic repairs, electric heating in the rooms, wooden windows are old, but generally warm.
