Hotel Nova in Samara

The polite staff left a good impression, but apart from that, there are a lot of BUTs:
1) The hotel started withdrawing money from the card long before arrival, despite the fact that on booking.com I checked the payment box on the spot. An unknown individual entrepreneur who withdraws money (an attempt to write off) at a random time, while I am at home or in transport, scared me very much.
2) The first impression is the dirty carpets in the hall. Know comments.
3) upon arrival, you find out that there is no smell of 4 stars here. 4 stars should have a gym, not to mention the little things like slippers, tea set, etc. in the rooms. There were slippers, everything else was missing.
4) poor breakfast, our family was saved only by the fact that, in principle, we were not used to eating in the morning.
5) the staff warned that the hood in the toilet barely works, and if you turn off the light in the bathroom at night, you will smell musty. This also adds a touch of sadness to the story of our stay.
6), of course, there is no dress code, as already noted in one of the reviews. Pants fell off the administrator;)

Double room 1400. There are no sockets by the bed, in the shower the water barely goes down the drain. If you open the window, there are a lot of mosquitoes (there is no net) in the closet there were dirty socks and a toenail on the floor 👣, the mattress is terrible. Everything else is good.

The place is in the center, the equipment of the hotel is very simple. For example, there is a coat hanger, night and coffee table, etc. But it would be its price. They could improve the cleaning a bit.

Not a good hotel Samara. Below average. But clean and quiet.
