The location is excellent, but the room cleanliness could be improved. During my long stay, the bed linen hasn’t been changed regularly, and there’s a persistent unpleasant odor in the room. Additionally, the bathroom shower head is faulty and can only be used by holding it manually.

Very good location and room standard was generally good, comfy bed and good sound dampening. However, I wouldn't really call it much of a hotel, more of a collection of rooms with a front desk. No breakfast, or lobby/waiting area. Was asked if wanted room serviced on day 2 of stay (would expect this as standard for a hotel, and not a question?): Said yes, but didn't happen. Service/provisions not what would expect from place which labels itself as 4*.

Some wear and tear in the bathroom to the woodwork. Also AC did not seem to function in the room, ok for October but would be an issue in summer. Heat function worked fine. Good value for location.

We recently stayed at this 4-star hotel for 5 days and were unfortunately hugely disappointed, particularly given the advertised star level.

Severe Hygiene Issues (The Main Frustration)
The biggest source of frustration was the abominable state of the hygiene.
• Dirty Jacuzzi/Bath: The jacuzzi was visibly dirty upon arrival. Although we complained immediately, we did not dare to use it, even after the 'cleaning attempt'.
• Insufficient Room Cleaning: The room was dusty and not properly cleaned. Following a complaint, we requested a second clean. Unfortunately, the result was barely better: thick dust and dirt were everywhere in the corners and bed.
• Cleaner's Reaction: The cleaner claimed she had cleaned it 'really well' and did not take our rightful criticism seriously, which we found extremely unprofessional.
Maintenance and Quality of Linens
The maintenance and quality of the textiles were also substandard:
• Stained Towels: The towels we initially received had stains.
• Damaged Linens: After asking for new towels, one of the pillowcases had a large hole.
• Damaged Furniture: The small sofa in the room had visible damage, including a hole from a cigarette) and an unexplained white stain.

Poor Complaint Handling
The complaint process was incredibly slow and frustrating:
• Slow Response: Due to the unusable jacuzzi, we immediately requested a partial refund. This process was agonizingly slow. We had to ask for the status every single day for four days.
• Under Duress: We only received an answer after we stated we would contact the manager ourselves. Given we only stayed 5 days, this was an unacceptably long reaction time.
• Late Compensation: The offered compensation (the price difference of the room and a free minibar) came far too late to salvage our stay.

Customer Service
Upon checkout, we were not asked how our stay was. We simply received a blunt 'bye', which further confirmed the indifference of the staff.

Positive: The only consolation was the hotel's excellent location.

Conclusion:
This hotel absolutely does not meet the standards of a 4-star establishment, considering the serious hygiene deficiencies, poor maintenance, and slow/unprofessional handling of complaints. We strongly advise against staying here.

A decent hotel not far from the touristic spots, good choice if you’re looking for a place close to the centre and at the same time not in a noisy location.

Decent location although at the bottom of a hill. Bed was ok. That's the good. Now the bad.. the staff didn't clean my room at all during my stay. Hot water only in 5 minutes blocks. There is no wifi in the rooms further away from the reception so don't stay in any rooms beginning with C and my aircon did not work. It's too loud to open the window. Wasn't impressed.

We had a wonderful stay in our room. The staff were very helpful, and the location was excellent. The rooms were clean and especially soundproof. We will definitely go there again.

We needed to book two different rooms; the larger one with the jacuzzi was spacious and comfortable.

It’s a very nice room in a great location. It’s bigger than I expected and the right price. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel and the front desk ladies are top notch. I would 10/10 recommend and come back when I’m in Belgrade. It’s in the center of everything and there is a 24 hour Idea grocery store right down the street. The restaurants surrounding The Location are insanely good. Just stay here you won’t regret it.
