Hotel Sunce in Banja Aleksinacka

Really nice hotel just a few minutes from the center of Sokobanja. Nice outdoor and indoor pool. Multiple saunas and cold showers, with optional massage that you need to pay extra for. We visited the à la carte restaurant as well, and the food was tasty and well prepared. The hotel staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The hotel parking is huge, but it's not covered, so it might get hot in the car during summer.

I had a great time at Hotel Sunce. This is perfect for a little weekend getaway to relax and chill out. The reception is beautiful and very welcoming with a nice lobby bar offering tasty cocktails. The Wellness Center/Spa is fantastic, with various saunas, a jacuzzi and other types of rooms. The pools are nice and spacious. The breakfast and dinner offered both a nice and healthy selection of foods, suitable for all tastes. The hotel is very close to Soko Banja’s city center which is handy if you wish to go for a walk. The only downside is the fact that we were given a room in an area that was only accessible via a staircase but no lift, and we had two heavy suitcases. When we mentioned this to the lady at the reception, she just asked if our suitcases were heavy and apologised but didn’t offer any help or solution. Other than that, I would have given 5 stars.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms had been recently fully renovated, and the entire hotel complex also looked completely refurbished. Everything felt brand new, exceptionally clean, and fresh — even the rooms smelled like freshly washed linens.
The housekeeping staff and the entire team were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The SPA area was also very clean and well maintained.
The surroundings are absolutely stunning. The hotel is surrounded entirely by mountains, with beautiful views everywhere and the peaceful sound of birds all day long. Overall, it is a truly beautiful and relaxing place.
The food was absolutely delicious, with a very good variety of options. We also appreciated that there were meals suitable for babies, plenty of high chairs available in the restaurant, and baby cots provided in the rooms.
The main — and probably only — downside is accessibility. Unfortunately, the hotel is not suitable for people with disabilities, wheelchair users, or even families with strollers, because there are stairs everywhere. Although there are elevators, you still need to go up or down 10–20 steps before or after using them in order to reach the rooms, restaurant, or SPA area. We were there with a baby stroller and it is difficult but manageable if you carry it, however for wheelchair users it would be practically impossible.
Another small issue was that smoking was allowed in one of the corridors, and the cigarette smoke occasionally reached our room, which was a bit unpleasant.

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are a bit smaller and have a small terrace (which is why I’m giving it 4 stars). The food is great, everything is clean, and the spa offers a lot of amenities. If you’re going there to relax, be prepared for many children and constant noise. You can only avoid that after 8 PM, when they go to bed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. During the stay in hotel everything was pretty good. When we are going to departure our car refusing to move, the guys from reception assist us to find a car service. Special thanks to all of them.

Had a great 3 days and celebrated the New Year! The staff was on top and did everything possible to create a festive mood for the guests. Disco in the bar. Champagne and free refreshments were an unexpected bonus! Liked the pools, recreation areas, I would like the temperature in the sauna to be above 90 degrees. Probably, special seals are needed for the doors, Everything else - hammams and a hydromassage pool are excellent. The spa area was open even on holidays from 8 am to 10 pm. Special thanks for the fact that the rooms are non-smoking, very clean and pleasant interiors! The breakfast is delicious and varied, just super!
