Tannette Villa in La Digue

From a naturalistic, ethnic, and cultural perspective, the Seychelles islands represent a unique experience.
The feature we most appreciated about this property was its ability to help guests fully enjoy this extraordinary vacation experience.
Tannette's Villa is conveniently located for all the amenities offered by La Passe. It's obviously close to the sea, but also nestled against the hill overlooking the island, allowing you to enjoy the lush greenery that surrounds it.
You can rent quality bicycles directly at the property, or, like us hikers, set off from here to reach any point on the island on foot.
The rooms are spotlessly clean. Room service is provided daily.
If possible, it's advisable to opt for the slightly larger rooms, but the others are also more than acceptable.
Breakfast, quite plentiful and served at the table, is international in style, featuring a mixed local fruit and excellent homemade jams. The hot dishes change daily, prepared with absolute mastery by Tannette, who demonstrates truly remarkable culinary skills.
The entire staff at Tannette's Villa has proven to be very attentive, efficient, and helpful.
Being self-catered, guests have access to a well-stocked shared kitchen.
During the eight days we spent at this property, we also experienced the excellent support provided to guests in the event of any inconveniences or unexpected difficulties, which is certainly more than appreciated in times of need.
In conclusion, with experience of numerous trips and stays around the world, this property, for this price range, is highly recommended.

Nice guesthouse with a good location that allows to easily reach all important places on the island. Great breakfasts, clean room, nice and kind service. However, the wi-fi is very poor and bikes offered to be rented are is a bad condition (although quite cheap).

Not far from the ferry, 5 mins by taxi, thanks to Tanette for her help with arranging it (150 SCR one way for a family) and for meeting us with a welcome drink.
The room is good, you have everything you need to rest and enjoy.
Amazing breakfast.
There is a possibility to rent a bike (100 SCR a day).
I recommend Mimum's take away for lunch/dinner (good quality in budget).
The only cons is Wi-Fi quality.

We spent 5 days at tannette's villa and we're more than happy. The whole staff as well as Tannette herself were absolutely friendly and forthcoming. The breakfast was a great surprise and consisted of different specialities every day. It was fresh, delicious and a whole lot to eat. I recommend everyone to try out the dinner, which has to be booked a day ahead, but it's absolutely worth it. Not only has it been the most delicate food we had so far on the Seychelles. Compared to the prices in other restaurants or even takeaways, it's still more than priceworthy. The room service was one of a kind as well. The room was absolutely clean and the sheets were folded differently everyday. In conclusion it was a wholesome stay and we felt more than welcome. The only sad thing was that we had to leave after 5 days.

Lovely accommodation in La Digue. Feels like waking up in a little jungle. Very nice hostess, good bikes to rent.

Myself and my wife had a great stay at Tannettes Villa.
Very friendly host, cleaning lady, Gardner and bike person. The room was very clean, great bed. Easy to access on the best road on the island. She has great bikes. One of ours did break down, buy it was quickly exchanged. Nice and quiet neighbourhood. A great sleep is had here.
You can tell that all the guests will be happy here for years to come.

We enjoyed staying at tannete villas, when we just arrived tanette surved us with fresh fruit home made drink and explained us about the island. The rooms are clean, nice garden, comfortable bads, very good value for money.

Best place to be on the island with a touch of Creole hospitality and peace and quiet.
