La Diguoise is beautifully surrounded by nature and the reception and lobby/restaurant are typical and pleasant. We were warmly welcomed and the location is great. However, it is difficult to get transport at the harbour if you haven't booked it in advance. The contact we received from the guesthouse did not respond. The food at the guesthouse is very tasty and typically seychelloise and there are bicycles available but of course NOT free of charge. It is best to have euros with you to pay, otherwise, as everywhere else, an untraceable charge is simply added on and you have no control.
We stayed 4 nights and when we came back in the dark on the 3rd day, our room had been cleared out and the wardrobe had even been removed. All our unpacked belongings were simply moved to the room opposite without us being informed. With the explanation that they would have had to start the reorganisation today. We would have left the next day anyway and the room we were moved to was just as in need of renovation as ours. They could have asked us if we could move, if it was so urgent. But simply touching all our things is a NO-GO and absolutely unacceptable. And Elodie, who claimed to have done everything herself, didn't understand what the problem was. It's normal for her and she didn't mean any offence. But there was zero insight. It ruined the whole stay at La Diguoise and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. What a shame.

We came and left on the same day we arrived. After dropping off our luggage, we went out to the beach. Once we arrived back to our room, we found mouse droppings all over our beds and the floor. There was also a foul smell in the rooms. We ended up leaving the same night but fortunately we was not charged for anything.

The place is very beautiful, colourful, with plenty of vegetation.. you really feel like in the middle of the jungle! The hosts were amazing, Luke is very helpful and professional. You can rent bikes directly there for 100rps per day/person, and the breakfast is good.

The only weak points would be the mattress, not very comfy, and we also had lights that didn’t work, and water drainage problem in the shower.

We’re happy about our stay :)

I would heartily recommend this unbelievably familiar accommodation to everyone! The rooms contain everything you need to feel good. We booked five days but decided very quickly after arriving to extend it for another five days as we liked it so much! The breakfast was great every day, there are fresh eggs every day, always prepared in different ways, fresh juice from our own fruits, pancaces and homemade jam from our own fruits. If you want you can have dinner here, but you should let them know by 3 p.m. at the latest. The dinner is also very recommendable 25 € / person (we ate here every day because we loved it). The accommodation is also very well located. Anyone who does not book here has missed something!

Apart from the "road" to get there (a dirt and sand path), this guest house surprised us as it is completely surrounded by nature. A little dated but still clean, with a spacious room and bathroom.
Small swimming pool for guests. The owner who speaks English and French is very helpful and kind and in the morning she cooked pancakes for us because the scrambled eggs were not to our liking. breakfast with eggs, fresh fruit, juice of your choice, toast bread and 2 jams. We chose half board as the island is small and the streets are not lit so it was inconvenient to go out and look for another hotel to have dinner.

Beautiful guesthouse with very nice host, beautiful yard and delicious breakfast and dinner.
We stood for 3 nights in a superior room and the location was very nice (pool in front of the room, clean and big) BUT our AC was so loud that we woke up many times per night. The bad mattress didn't help either. Other guest moved from the standard rooms to the superior rooms and back and were not too happy

What dishonesty! We had to cancel the stay for medical reasons with certificate as proof. After promises of reimbursement, we have not yet received anything. More than 500 euros. .. lost for us who now line the pockets of an unscrupulous owner.
Bitter return to the reality of business.
