Our stay at Ocean Terrace was absolutely pleasant and memorable. The room was very comfortable, and the view from the property was truly breathtaking—waking up to such scenery was a highlight of our trip.
The property itself is really beautiful, well-maintained, and peaceful. The pool deserves a special mention—it is extremely good and perfect for relaxing while enjoying the surroundings.
The staff was very polite, warm, and always ready to help. A special thank you to Fe, who went out of her way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Her hospitality made a real difference and made us feel genuinely cared for.
Breakfast was incredible with a great variety, and the service throughout was absolutely top-notch.
Overall, Ocean Terrace offers a perfect blend of comfort, views, hospitality, and quality service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mahé, Seychelles.

Great staff. Friendly, polite, attentive and go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. The manager Kereck was superb.
Excellent location: Very private and idyllic area however a car is required as you’re essentially up the side of a mountain. The view is amazing.
Lovely poolside area if you’re tired of visiting beaches around the island
Very friendly and homely feel due to there only being a handful of rooms. At night there are no staff so you’re entrusted with the property by yourself which is quite cool, and takes away from that hotel feeling.
Not so good:
-because the rooms are organised in a close location to each other in the 1st floor you do tend to hear others coming and leaving and conversations from outside. If you’re a light sleeper this will probably disturb you unless you’re lucky and the other guests happen to be very courteous.
-for the same reason as above, you’ll also be awoken by housekeeping after 9am when they tidy the other rooms- so getting a lie in if you’re after a late start is not very likely.
I believe they could fix this by adding some noise foam or getting a better seal between the door and frame. Wouldn’t be that hard to fix.
The other downside is some of the linen like the bedsheets, sofas and towels had various marks/stains on them from previous use. Considering you’re paying over 200euros per night to stay here (at least I did) they could definitely buy new linen rather than re use stained ones, this is especially important for bedding and towels - less so the sofa chairs as I appreciate they’re going for an aged kind of aesthetic.
Overall the view and friendly staff is probably worth it to stay here despite the negatives - but I do hope they address these also.
