We stayed in the guest house for one night only, but guys who work there are absolutely amazing! Thay went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable! We have small child and arrived in accommodation pretty late in the evening but they made sure that we get hot dinner ready and offered with ice cream and drinks after. Guys helped us a lot with luggage and everything we needed! Honestly, it was much better hospitality than in some high rated hotels. Good job!

The staff were great, but had a super weird experience with the owner, where she made threats to me and my family, including having us detained by her friends at immigration. It was about the payment. I booked this on ******* and every other time I have booked lodging it is paid upfront. Apparently this one was not. Which I didn’t notice. A few hours after we left, the owner, said she was not paid. I told her that seemed odd and asked her to show verification. Instead of sending that she immediately wrote multiple threats about having us detained at immigration when we leave the country, that she knew the immigration people and had already talked to them and would have them detain us. The rate of escalation was kind of nuts. I told her from the start I would pay, but just needed to see verification that she was not in fact paid. She continued to threaten and send guilt trips. Not the biggest deal in the world, and I don’t normally write reviews, but this one was pretty uncomfortable so figured I would share it. She has since sent verification, and I have paid her, but we have not attempted to go through immigration yet, so not sure what will occur when we do. One of the weirdest interactions I have encountered in having booked hundreds of lodging over the years.

The staff was rude and not helpful. The check in and checkout was a disaster. The cleanliness was just ok. The overall feel was nothing to write about. The overall feel did not seem to worth it. Avoid if you can.

We booked the whole Apartment on the Ground Floor in advance and everything about the owner lady was so sketchy. First she said she forgot about my reservation and sold it to other guests, so when we got there she said that she had another room available. It was almost 3 am and we were so tired so we decided to just sleep and not a make a big deal out of it even though we ended up getting a much smaller room. She apologized and said since we checked in very late and we were checking out the next day, she said we could have a late checkout of an extra hour. We woke up and had breakfast which was very basic. Then since we knew we had late checkout, we took our time since there was no rush as we were going to check in to our resort. This was just a convenient place for the night because our flight arrived so late. (the motel is literally 8 minutes from the airport-though it's not walkable as there isn't a footpath ) As we sat outside just sunbathing and enjoying the good weather, I was summoned to her office where she was so nasty and demanded that we pay a late check out fee. When I asked how about we not getting the room I had reserved which was way more expensive and reminded her that the only reason we extended our stay was because she was the one who suggested because she "messed up" which now knowing the kind of person she is, was obviously a lie. She tried to make me pay more because I booked via booking.com, saying that I should've booked directly with her as she needed to pay them a fee which was none of my business.
All in all, she gave us a terrible welcome to Seychelles and we couldn't wait to leave.
100% would not recommend unless of course you don't mind bare minimum and horrible treatment.

Great for the airport
The room was immaculate and the service really warm and hospitable. They cooked a delicious roast chicken for me which I really enjoyed. The bed was a queen it was firm and fairly comfortable, but the sound proofing is non-existent and light came through the curtains which I found made it hard for me to sleep. Perfectly located for the airport - I would recommend it, for the service and cleanliness alone.

Cozy and warm place near by the airport to have rest and chill before the next move. Mrs Lyra is an absolute heart of the guesthouse, tries to accommodate every small request and is very helpful in terms of transfer, food requests or any other movements. The guesthouse has a beautiful Mountain View, few shops nearby, airport just 5 min car ride and quiet location to have rest. Breakfasts, launches and dinners are simple but delicious. Special thanks to Mrs Lyra’s helpers, two guys who take care of food prep and room clearance, great job.

Home away from home!
This was our second stay at this guest house and we felt like meeting our new family. Very clean rooms, delicious food and very loving and heartwarming people, who help any way they could.
I am absolutely sure, that we will come back here next time in the Seychelles!

After 4 different planes and a nearly 24 hour travel day, we missed the ferry for praslin. We last minute booked this place and they had our room ready in 30 minutes. The service and accommodations here were beyond anything we could have asked for. They treated us like family in a moment of severe stress. We could not recommend enough!!!!!

This hotel is very close to the airport, about a kilometer walk away. The landlady is very friendly. I am not good at speaking, but she communicated patiently and even used her kitchen for free. Her service guy is really good. The room is very clean and she helped me rent a car. I had a really happy trip to Mahe Island. I was very happy
