We stayed 14 amazing days at Villa Dolphin over Christmas and New Year and can honestly say it was one of the best holidays we have ever had. Villa Dolphin was absolutely perfect — our own private terrace facing a lush garden filled with palm trees and beautiful tropical plants, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere from morning to night. The location is ideal — quiet, private, and surrounded by nature, yet wonderfully convenient. Anse Forbans is within walking distance, one of the most beautiful and picturesque beaches, with crystal-clear water ideal for a refreshing dip, snorkeling, or a long walk along soft, powdery white sand. My tip: don’t miss the sunrise — Anse Forbans is on the east side of Mahé, and watching the sun rise over the ocean is truly magical. There is also a local shop within walking distance, perfect if you are self-catering or simply fancy a cold SeyBrew to quench your thirst after a day at the beach. In addition, the DoubleTree by Hilton Seychelles – Allamanda Resort & Spa is just a short walk away, where you can easily walk in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The villa was spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained, and it was professionally cleaned every two days with fresh towels provided each time, which made our stay even more comfortable. There was also a very convenient laundry service available if needed (only 200 Seychelles rupees) — a thoughtful touch, especially for a longer stay. This level of care truly reflects the passion of Amanda, the owner, who has created something very special here. The team made our experience exceptional. A heartfelt thank you to Debra and John for their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality. Breakfasts were a highlight — fresh, delicious, and full of flavour, with organic local fruits picked straight from the garden. And thank you so much for the lovely treats — the fresh coconuts and the red bananas from the garden, quite honestly the most delicious bananas we have ever tasted. We felt completely safe, relaxed, and truly at home throughout our stay. Leaving was emotional, and we already miss it. We will be living with these beautiful memories until we return to your paradise. Great value for money, no matter how long you stay. 🤍🌴✨

Fantastic stay at Captain’s Villa. The location is perfect — quiet, steps from a beautiful calm beach, and ideal for relaxing. The room was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The hosts were warm, helpful and always available if needed. Everything was smooth and well-organized from start to finish. Absolutely no complaints — I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it.

We spent 9 nights at Captain's Villa in July - August 2025.

It is a tastefully decorated place reflecting the authentic style of the isalnd. The wonderful Anse Forbans beach is only a few steps away from the villa. We also enjoyed the surrounding lush greenery with the lovely sound of the birds.

Amanda, her family and her team were all very welcoming, kind and helpful. We received lots of useful information, recommendations and nice maps to explore Seychelles.

I loved my beautiful flower bouquet made for my birthday.

My daughter and I would like to say a big thank you again for everything, we had a very enjoyable stay! We wish this great family-run business to continue flourishing.

My wife and I stayed at this villa for four nights. Upon check-in, the hostess greeted us and offered us delicious juice. Manager Amanda sent us all the information we needed for our stay.
The room was clean and had everything we needed. We were on the second floor, with a balcony overlooking the road toward the beach. Opposite the balcony is a gorgeous palm tree.
There's a small grocery store and a takeaway restaurant nearby where you can grab a bite to eat. We used a rental car to get around the island, but if you're not driving, there's a convenient bus stop right next to the villa.
We really enjoyed the villa and would definitely return.

I would like to reflect to the owner response to my first review here- as I mentioned, we could not sleep on the first night as the bed was very unconfortable. When I asked for help next day morning to give us extra matress or another room, the answer was not possible by the reception. Only after I posted a bad review on google, they took my complaint seriously and only after that they wanted to help and offered a bigger room. Is it s good customer service? I let you decide. I definitely not suggest this accomodation.

We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed our time. I liked being in the south east as peite anse and anse soleil, as well as the bay with sunset are nearby. Forbans beach is across the road from the villa too. The manager, Amanda, pre hired a car and arranged our transfers and was always responsive on whatsapp. The breakfast was very good with fruits from the garden. The room was basic, but comfortable with decent wifi. It was a good choice and I recommend Captains villa.

Reasonable food with friendly service. Restaurant has beautiful beach views. Food is reasonably priced and we'll made, dishes are good with a decent selection. Nothing great but if you need a meal and you're staying nearby you'll leave happy.
