Two or three stars, probably considered pretty good for a mountain area. The staff were quite nice, but the hotel itself was rather large, and the facilities were a bit low-end.

A great hotel, friendly for both children and adults, no matter the weather. Outside the hotel, there are beautiful and nearby attractions for the whole family to visit (caves, mountains). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. I recommend it.

I loved it, not much to say, 21 meter tower, I am slovakian in fact but I speak English better, It has mineral waters, room was very cozy, one problem I could say was that trains kept passing by, but it was fun, and it was perfect and idk what to say.

This is an amazing place to relax on weekends stay. Mud Bath, Mirror Bath and Massage are recommended here, rooms are quite nice and restaurants and cafes inside are quite good...lots of activities to do like bicycling and more....recommended.

A pretty nice historical place. One can choose from three foods. The staff is very nice and helps you to organize your needs. (There is a cat outside to offer you zootherapy.) I have been mislead, you have to go to the park to feed the cat. The surroundings offer spa, water therapy, NAP Parafango and many others.

The great animation program and the kids' swimming pool are the main attractions for them. We stayed here as family (2 adults, 1 child 3y) for a prolonged weekend and had a great stay! It’s a really good family hotel with outdoor playground, indoor kids zones, pool and wellness area for families but also adults only. Our room was spacious, cleaned every day. Excellent hotel suitable for families as well as couples with tons of activities available indoor as well as in near surroundings. Tons of activities in two wellness centers, lobby bar, bowling, billiard, kids corner, lego corner, game room, non stop fitness center and outdoor playground will make sure that there is no space for boredom in this place.

Not too far from the airport. Easy to reach with the same bus that connects the airport to the city centre. It's a good and cheap option if your flight arrives late in the evening. Possibility of continental breakfast at the pub inside the hotel.

The hotel is 11 minutes away by car to Old Town and surrounding areas so I had to take Uber to and fro each day for sight seeing. It was inconvenient. Best to pay a little more for accommodation to be near Old Town so you can walk everywhere.

The hotel was very basic. I would give it just 1 star. It was very noisy at night, the bed vas uncomfortable and small. I would not recommend to stay there, I won’t be back.

The hotel remembers the times of communism. The equipment is very damaged. Hot. Hard beds. The toilet and shower are small and shared by 2 rooms. But for these gentlemen, a man will survive anything

Service was great, nothing to say about it. The rooms were clean but it smelled really strongly of sweet almond. The pillows however were so thin it felt like you were not even laying on one, and the shower stream was intense (almost too hard)

Very good, a low price and good conditions

The room we rented had two beds and a sofa, presented as a bed. A small tv was also there. We also had wifi. Room temperature was way too high, but you could always open the window. Overall it was a good stay.

If you don't mind having a sink in the room, then it is a decent 3-star hotel to stay in.

The hotel was very clean, breakfast was good. It is outside the city center, but good for my business trip. The room layout was a littlw weired (see photos) and the room itself was rather small. But overall - I would stay again.

26. - 28.8.2025 This hotel is great. It is located in a quiet area, not directly in the city centre. The room was very clean and well equipped. Breakfast was delicious with a wide choice of meals. The staff was professional, kind and always helpful. The price is also very reasonable. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

Our room was peculiar: the walls are so dark, the arrangement of furniture is odd, the bed is so comfortable but the stairs on to it are odd, getting shower demands slimness, because the manhole is so narrow, the shower itself is great, the tolet-bowl fits for purpose in toilet, but it is really odd that the sink is in the room, not in the bathroom! The hotel room was nice and clean and quite spacious. Unfortunately, no hand towels were provided, the shower door let the water out and made the bathroom floor very wet which is quite dangerous. The bathroom door lock didn't work. The receptionists were very polite and helpful. The breakfast offered nice food selection .

Easily 4 stars hotel not 3 stars only ( though hotel stars rating is arbitrary). Excellent water pressure and good shower corner/bathroom helps with short business stays saving time. Breakfast is vastly better than one expects, real effort goes into it, not a lot worse than famous LOFT hotel. Not to mention it was included in price. Areas for improvements can be slippers in the room without the need...

I don't want to hide my pleasant impression! Very welcoming and friendly staff and this is not a game, but an attitude towards the client! The breakfast exceeded all expectations: varied, non-standard, generous and delicious! This once again emphasizes that the business is done with love and respect for the client!

The fact that this room doesn't have a bathtub is a good thing; I prefer rooms without bathtubs because it's more hygienic to shower without having to worry about many other things. Plus, the price is quite reasonable. Since I was on a business trip nearby and it's close to my client's location, I'll definitely choose this room again if I need to visit that client next time.

The hotel is a bit far away, the service is very poor, the layout of the hotel room is unreasonable, it took a long time to find the room after going around in circles. The hotel waiter is not fluent in English, and there was no one at the front desk to provide service when checking out the next day. I have not enjoyed stay in this hotel. We went there because our first option was overbooked. The room was smelling after smoking ? and TV has very bad signal ? (we said that even on reception...no help) and funny part was that they will not offer you lower price that they have on booking at place... so you have to book online. It's not that bad (I've seen worser) but for couples I'd recommend something...

A very tidy hotel with good breakfast and the most comfortable beds in the world. However, the walls are thin and it can be noisy.

Unassuming but nice 3⭐ hotel almost in the town center. Close proximity to whatever you want to do here. Rooms are nice and clean, our suite even had a basic kitchen. Personnel was very nice especially towards our one year old son who liked to entertain them. The only downside is the road noise can be heard especially if you want to keep the window open since the rooms are not air conditioned.

Spa shouldn’t be listed as an amenity if it’s an extra 65€ fee.  This hotel was generally overpriced for the quality offered.  Room was a bit shabby.   Breakfast was not the best and could get quite overcrowded.   The lunch menu was reasonable for 10€.

Hotel was okay, a little old but it was clean and safe; it needs some TLC. The gentlemen that greets you at the reception was very nice and professional. I read previous reveiws about this location and the reception gentleman must be the person the other reviewers wrote about stating how nice and professional he is. Worth the stay for a low cost.

The environmental price exceeded some of my expectations! The location is also good. The disadvantage is that you have to bring your own locker locks or buy them at the hostel.

Comfy, if a bit run down and bitten by the tooth of time. If I remember correctly, it's been 11 years since the last renovation, and the place yearns for another one.

The landscape is very nice, breakfast and dinner have many options, the rooms are clean. Note: the wellness area is superb - both the pool and the two saunas are worth seeing. The reception staff does not speak English, there is no hair dryer in the room. If the wellness are does not exist, the quality-price ratio is not convenient.

Hotel well located on the main road and close to the ski slopes. If you take a shortcut through the parking lots it is very close to ski lifts - within short walk distance. Good food, helpful staff, free parking (although the one at the main entrance is not large). Rooms need updating - old furniture and bathrooms, but it does not bother, because rooms are clean. This ex-ROH style of accommodation is actually very practical with kids. Rooms are not fancy but everything is clean and tidy. Food is buffet style, and we like it very much. Kids have their own little playroom. There is wellness area, good for relax after skiing. My wife gets massage almost every day, not pricy and excellent. Above all, we like the personnel very much.

Hotel Matyšák was very good for me. The room was spacious and clean, but there was a shortage of sockets where they are needed. There were no coffee making facilities, though I was loaned a kettle from reception. Breakfast is only cold items, so I skipped it on the last two days. Spacious room. Near Bratislava Main Train Station. Old Town Square about 20 minutes walking. Very good breakfast. Front desk staff very helpful. Could be better if room have electric kettle for hot water for tea/coffee.

The room was huge and spotlessly clean. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Also appreciate the complimentary breakfast. The staff was friendly especially William who came to my rescue by lending me an adapter. Thank you. Strongly recommend this hotel😀

The hotel is nice and close to the train station but a little inconvenient to get there. The neighborhood is not that nice but does appear to be safe. Mass transit is easy to access from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was nice. They are accommodating if you want to leave your luggage after you check out.

Excellent apartment! Spotlessly clean, with all amenities. Individual quilts, iron, washing machine, dishwasher, ironing board. Everything you could need. Hair dryer as well as shampoo and shower gel two in one big package. Warm house at all hours with a constant temperature of 25 degrees. Close to the historic center and the market. Quiet area. Very good soundproofing. It really deserves its money

The actual apartment is perfect: spacious, clean & bright. It is however, located at least a 20 minute walk from the historic area in a neighbour that is quite run down.

Too expensive for what you get. It's probably worth more like €60 a night not more. The check in was annoying since they don't have staff at the building so you have to wait for an email with codes which only arrives after check-in time which means you can't leave your luggage at the reception (there isn't even a reception). I enjoyed my three night stay in this friendly hotel in the historic Old Town centre. It's location was very good, down a quiet side street but only a short walk to Hlavna and the Cathedral - left out the door, first left and then turn right and the cathedral is right in front of you. It's also just off the road leading to the airport so really convenient for bus no.23 which drops you 3-4 mins walk...

The room was good, but very easy, old fashioned. The bed and bathroom was really nice. Breakfast also really enjoyed, fresh bakery and more If you don't have to much expectations for a room, it is a good choice, due to the rear down town.

I stayed one night, in transit. I liked the hotel, ok price, big room, clean bathroom. I think that the floor in the rooms should be redone, there was a foil stuck that looks like a parquet. Be careful in the shower, the tiles are slippery when wet. Varied and tasty breakfast.

I liked the resort itself, but the basic facilities were disappointing considering the price. The knives were not properly sharpened, making it difficult to cut onions, garlic, and potatoes, and the lighting flickered occasionally. The microwave could not even prepare popcorn properly, and the induction stove had weak heat, which made cooking difficult. If the basic kitchen equipment and facilities...

Ooh, I really enjoyed our weekend at Sojka resort. Clean rooms, amazing staff, which was really nice, attentive and welcoming. Our family was really happy. Ahh, and food in restaurant was great.

This hotel is conveniently located at the heart of Nitra, the staff extremely friendly, she even remembered my colleagues from 10 years ago, the rooms are comfy, parking available despite the closeness to the pedestrian zone. All in all a good experience.

nice stay for travelers for 1 night. Slept here on our way to Austria. Rooms a little bit small and dark. Outside of hotel you will find very sad views and I am not sure if it is safe to walk around, but.....hotel is very clean, quiet, safe.
