Situated right by the slopes and on the higher end of the mountain Hotel Jasná was a pleasant surprise. Matching modern life qualities with a very genuine wooden winter cottage aura. Friendly and great staff. Don't forget to visit the wellness spa.

Breakfast had a good selection. Showers were hot and powerful. Only problem were the thin walls where you can hear everything going on next door or in the corridor. We were unlucky to be next to a room with a crying baby all night which kept us awake. Also, the hotel is up the slope so you would have to walk up with all your ski equipment or get on the last lift up by 15:30.

This is a really nice hotel with a cool spa. It was especially fun to visit with a big group since it’s very close to everything. Big. Unclear navigation, easy to get lost. Bracelets can be unavailable for some reasons and you, blocked beetwen zones, need to wait if smone from stuff suddenly will go by. But the place is fine, thermal outdor pool is very relaxing. Fun kids zone.

As an architecture buff I enjoyed staying in this 150 year old historic building. It is in the heart of “old” Nitra within walking distance of parks, restaurants, the riverfront and shopping. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Although it’s not the “grand” hotel it once was, it’s very good value and we would definitely stay here again.

Our bathroom had a very large bath that you may want to ensure that you have a rubber ring available :-) The only negative that I would highlight is that the breakfast is over-priced for what you get which, wasn't very good either but, apart from that, a wonderful hotel to stay in.
