Hotel is on the hill above Portoroz, but easy to get down, there is walking path and steps. Free parking in front of restaurant. We were upgraded in superior room which was very appreciated. Room is spacious with balcony. Breakfast is good. We had good stay

A hillside location woth beautiful views over the bay of Portorozo and our room had a sea view balcony and a bonus new shower. But this is not 4 star. It is a 3 star family run hotel with free parking, 5 min walk to town and wonderful pool area. Breakfasts are just ok and after 10pm reception closes so drinks or food available to buy. Rooms are not very big. Yes it is friendly and clean but for £200 per nite it felt rather basic and rooms do need a face-lift as do their complex sliding doors put in to save space. The nite entrance from car park to lift also needs some rethinking. We had a lovely stay but really we were in a 3 star.

Very varm and kind atmospehere. The owner and the staff are very service minded and professional. Breakfast was exeptionel. Nice surroundings, we were able to borrow bikes for free. The hotel Tomi, in Portoroz, are situated with an amazing view.

Staff so friendly. Special mentions to Grigor on reception who helped us get a takeaway and Manuel also, but unfailingly, the staff are Hotel Tomi's best asset. Room was spacious and clean. Wifi good. Balcony had a nice view and was spacious. Breakfast was fine. Pool area was really nice - kept clean and very pretty, though towels were tired and could do with being replaced. The bedding was not very nice - cheap bobbled cotton. Towels were tatty. Road leading to beach and town meant crossing a busy road with no pedestrian crossing.

A family-owned hotel on a hill above Portorož, nice and comfortable rooms with a sea view from the balcony. It is a short walk to the Portorož center and the beach. The breakfast offers a broad selection of food. The staff is extremely friendly. Free parking. Hotel has is a beautiful Michelin star restaurant COB. Dinner was excellent, for each dish you receive you get an explication of the origin and motivation behind the dish.

Charming family-owned hotel. Great breakfast, beautiful pool, easy access to the beach. Very comfortable pleasant rooms. We enjoyed chatting with the owners — son and dad checked us in, mom was there in the morning overseeing breakfast and gave us a few recommendations. The place used a lot of creative and tasteful design elements.

It has been 4 years since my last stay at Hotel Tomi and this stay was as enjoyable as my last. The hotel has changed considerably as the carpet in the hallways has been replaced. The rooms themselves have been upgraded, most noticeably are the bathrooms (pic below). The flooring around the pool has been renovated. Additionally, the staff serves exquisite freshly made pizzas at lunch! The breakfast was bountiful as usual! I look forward to my next stay at Hotel Tomi.
