Not much has changed in the pools between my last and the previous visit eight years ago. There are still broken tiles, rusty fences, dirty windows. The pools are in a fairly dilapidated condition. The paths around the pools are also unkempt. Apart from the increase in the price of tickets and food, not much has changed in these 8 years. I would recommend to the management just one visit of neighboring Bad Radkesburg spa to see what cleanliness means.

I must say that the stuff is very friendly!

Amazing place, friendly team members. Very nice stay, the only improvement I would suggest is increasing the toilets and washing machines since it would be little bit busy when it is crowded, other than that everything was perfect.

Lots of pools, with different temperatures and nice massage. A proper relaxation, love it

They are very good but also very old. You can see old stains on the floor and poor maintinance but worth it because of the black pool. Also take your own food, restaurant there is not very good with limited vegetarian options.

Poor reception at the front desk but otherwise excellent.

Would not recommend. The renovation is long overdue in many places including homes and the surroundings. Had many questionably placed light switches that you can't either reach or they're blocked by the furniture. AC was in the middle of two floor apartment which meant it wouldn't reach the bedroom upstairs. Shower thing that changes the height of the shower head was broken and the shower tub was leaking. Swimming pools are dirty and you can see the dirt and discolouration on the bottom. Receptionist was kind but the rest of the service felt off. Lifeguard started locking the doors 12 minutes before pool closing and at 21:00 exactly the lights were turned off even though there was a mother with a child still using showers. You can't have a free drink or water at dinner. They actively stop you from using the drink machines and you're supposed to buy water for 5 euros which is more expensive than a beer. Can't take a banana with me either without a fine. Judge for yourself if you'd visit or not. I'm personally not coming back.

As always, I'm staying for work, so I can't fully enjoy all the amenities.
In any case, the hotel is in decent condition, with a gym, tons of pools, and a few places to dine, grab a beer, and grab an ice cream right outside.

Ajda hotel and the pool, used to be a very well balanced in quality for money. Recently, the quality is deteriorating and the way downhill is only accelerating. In the period 11-13 March 2022, we have experienced the worst service ever at this hotel. Especially the pool, there was no cleaning whatsoever in the toilets, paper towels ran out in a few hours, no hand sanitizer at all for all three days. Especially Sunday, with quite some visitors, the wardrobe floor got really dirty, hair, dust, all kind of waste, towels,... never got cleaned all day long. The lifeguards spent most of the time smoking behind the premises, never showed up in the pool area, when on duty, all their attention was to YouTube on the computer screen. Not to mention, the sauna sheets ran out mid-day Saturday. The dark green color of pool water must have been an indicator of extra health, I would imagine. Sorry for seeing this place gone so bad, we are not returning.

Food is nice and tasty, staff is very kind and helpful, kids have nice pools to play. Adults also have nice pools to choose. Rooms are nice and spacious. Highly recommended for all families!! We were in winter time in summer must be even better with all outdoor pools.

20.01.2024 luaperla

Everything was fine, except for the lifeguards talking very loudly in the sauna area or sleeping inside their cabins with the lights off. Avoid the Terme 3000 if you want to relax because there you will find children screaming and diving.

Share your experiences, help others make the right choice!

Think about what you would like to know if you were looking for a review about a place to relax. Please describe in detail what you liked and what you didn't. What would you advise to other guests and to the hotel owner. The more fully you tell about the hotel, the easier it will be for other people to make a choice and they will be very grateful to you!
