Seoul Garden Hotel in Seoul

This is a four-star hotel, and the room was quite spacious. Daily housekeeping service was a nice touch. They don't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, but towels and slippers are available. You can buy toothbrushes and toothpaste from a vending machine in the lobby.

Getting to and from the airport is very convenient. You can take airport bus 6015 for 17,000 KRW per person, and the bus stop is right outside the hotel. The journey takes about 40 minutes.

To get to Myeongdong, you can take bus 463 directly. The hotel is also just 100 meters from Mapo Station on subway line 5. There are plenty of dining options and coffee shops nearby, including a popular Instagrammable cafe just a two-minute walk away. Overall, very convenient for getting around.

The elevators have CCTV, and the rooms are very clean and hygienic. The front desk staff are all very friendly and patient; you can ask them for extra room cards. There's a Wowpass card machine in the lobby. There aren't any Chinese staff at the front desk, but a man who seems like a manager will use a translator to communicate with you. I highly recommend this place.

It's a 10-minute walk from Gongdeok Station, and there's a bus stop right opposite the hotel. The hotel itself is also an airport bus stop; if you're coming from Incheon Airport by bus, this is the first stop (Mapo Seoul Garden Hotel stop).

I highly recommend it. There's a 7-Eleven nearby, and in the alley behind the hotel, there's a recommended tteokbokki place.

Booked a room with a terrace, and the environment was really nice. The only downside was the weather was too cold for kids to play on the terrace. It's definitely more suitable for a summer visit. Overall, I really liked the hotel.

The room was clean and tidy, cleaned daily, and had a bathtub. It was also quite spacious, and smelled lovely everywhere. The location is excellent, and the grilled pork skin at Brothers BBQ, near the hotel, is delicious!

Super convenient! There's an airport shuttle directly to the hotel, and even for early morning flights, the shuttle is available for the return journey. It's also very close to the subway, making it easy to get anywhere. Since it's Christmas month, the lobby decorations are absolutely beautiful.

The hotel is about a 50-minute drive from Incheon Airport. The nearest subway station is Mapo Station, roughly 200-300 meters away, and Gongdeok Station is also within walking distance. Right outside the main entrance, there's a bus stop, which is convenient. However, there aren't many shopping areas nearby. The closest ones are Yeouido Department Store and Times Square Yeongdeungpo, but neither is particularly great for shopping. If I were to visit again, I'd probably choose to stay in Myeongdong or somewhere closer to Gangnam. Gangnam is excellent for shopping, but traffic is bad and accommodation is expensive, so Myeongdong would also be a good option as it's close to duty-free shops. This hotel isn't very close to shopping areas, and it's quite a hassle to travel back and forth. My advice would be to stay in the area where you plan to do most of your shopping.

Regarding the hotel facilities themselves, although it looked a bit old at first glance, it was actually very functional during my stay. For instance, the room was a good size, had plenty of mirrors, and was very quiet with no AC noise. There were lots of charging ports and outlets, the smart toilet worked great, and there was a bathtub with excellent water pressure. The bed was comfortable. So, for 600 won a night, I was quite satisfied with the price.

This was my second trip to Seoul, and I booked this hotel again. The hotel environment is very clean, and the room heating is excellent. It's super convenient for getting around, with bus and subway stations nearby and plenty of great food options! It's also just one stop away from Hangang Yeouido Park~
