Europe Playa Marina - Adults only in Illetas

The hotel room looked exactly like on the pictures on booking. It was big enough, very comfortable beds, beautiful sea view, clean, air-conditioning worked perfectly. The only "negative" thing was a missing ventilation in the bathroom which made it the room smelly after visiting the toilet.
The hotel was quiet, it was very comfortable to use the hotel sunbeds, access to the sea was easy and close.
The location of the hotel was perfect if you wanted to lay in the sun and swim, a bit unconvenient if you wanted to go to the centre (45min with the public bus) although the bus stop is almost next to the hotel (1-2min walking) and the bus runs every few minutes.
Altogether a very pleasant experience and we would come back.

Great location, incredible, views, and excellent service. The balconies overlooking the cove are extraordinary. You can also rent kayaks or paddleboards. Everything was well decorated and higher-end, except for the soap and "shampoo/shower gel" combo, which looked they were pulled from a budget motel. No idea why they went with such incredibly cheap looking soap when everything else is so nice. Overall, highly recommend (except maybe in July or August) just bring your own bathroom products.

Good location near bus stop, and nice beach. Delicious breakfast with fresh fruits, chef who makes omelette as you want it. Nice pool area by the sea.

Location:
The area is very quiet, which was lovely for relaxing. There's a bus stop just a minute's walk away, and buses run frequently, making it easy to get around. There are also a few local shops and restaurants nearby, which was convenient.

Hotel Staff:
The receptionists were absolutely lovely warm, welcoming, and caring from the moment I arrived. The cleaners were also friendly and did a great job. However, my room was located right opposite the cleaners’ cabinet on floor 4, and they would start slamming doors around 7 AM, which disturbed my sleep.

Room Experience:
My air conditioning wasn’t working when I first arrived, but it was fixed within 30 minutes by the generator technician, which I appreciated.

Restaurant & Food:
The restaurant staff on the last floor level especially the waitresses, were sometimes a bit too pushy, and a few would finish their personal conversations before serving( a bit unprofessional.) The restaurant food was a letdown. I ordered a pizza for €10, but it looked nothing like the photo and was highly disappointing.

On the flip side, breakfast was a standout plentiful, delicious, and beautifully presented. I’ve never had such a generous breakfast at a hotel. The breakfast staff were also amazing and attentive. Well done to them!

Facilities:
The swimming pool was great, and if you love swimming in the sea, this is the place for you beautiful access and views.

Solo Travel Notes:
I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're a solo traveler looking to meet people. Most of the guests seemed a bit unfriendly, and as an ethnic minority, I experienced a few uncomfortable stares. This isn't the hotel's fault necessarily,.

Its beach is beautiful, it is a very magical place.
