Carabela in Peguera

Arrived at hotel on 6th june 2023 hotel is in great location with sea and beach few yards from back of hotel and to the front the main street with everything you need. Hotel is in need of decoration as it looks tired from outside although reception area is nice. We did not bother with breakfast after first day as it was all set up for germans the coffee was in a thermas flask and was cheap horrible coffee. With regards to the room just outside our door room 106 were picture frames hanging on the wall with no pictures in. The room itself was okay bed was big and comfy but pillows,were cheap and awful. One of plug sockets came off the wall after using it. Air conditioning was awful made so much noise and was hardly worth having on i complained but nothing got done. The balcony was good with great view but again didnt sit out on it as the chairs were horrible uncomfortable metal chairs how can you relax on these. The shower was great but toilet i had to sit sideways on it as it was to close to the wall which ive never seen before again bathroom looked bit tired and needs regrouting in shower area. Overall its was a nice area to stay but i will point out there is so many germans i heard 2 engish voices in ghe whole time i was there nothing against germans some are rude though. I wouldnt go back to hotel or pagurea as i never visit anywhere twice but hotel is a family run hotel but they were not very engaging.
