Caramelo Calvia Beach Hotel in Magaluf

I would say a fantastic hotel and well worth the amount paid. From start to finish the hotel staff were very pleasant and happy. The breakfast catered for everyone's needs. A lady on reception even helped me by posting a couple of post cards for me which was really nice of them.

Met some of the nicest people around the pool side bar as a solo traveller it's always nice to have a chat with people.

The hotel is conveniently located between both Magaluf and Palma Nova which is amazing so your getting best of both worlds.

Room I was in you only heard people coming back in the morning but we're on on our holidays.

The beds do move as they are on wheels, but beds are not too uncomfortable.

If you want basic but worth the money this hotel is fantastic.

It does what it says it does.

It's not all about the partying!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week at the end of September and had a brilliant experience. Our room was lovely and spotless, with housekeeping changing sheets and towels daily. There’s a mini fridge, and you can hire pool towels for a €10 deposit which was handy. Our balcony didn’t have a sea view, but we enjoyed the mountain views and a bit of people-watching from the neighbouring hotel! The hotel facilities were great – reception is 24/7 and the staff were really helpful and friendly. There’s a luggage storage room for checkout day and even showers you can use before heading to the airport. Inside areas are stylish and relaxing and there's a decent sized gym with a pool view. Your room key is also on a wrist band for each traveller which saves having to remember who has the room key! The pool area had a good but chilled vibe, good music that wasn’t too loud, a pool table, and a lovely pool bar serving great cocktails. Plenty of sunbeds, loungers, and beanbags so we always found somewhere to sit. Breakfast was excellent every morning with loads of choice: fresh eggs, fruit, smoothies, pastries, and hot options. It did get busy at around 9, but the outdoor terrace overlooking the pool made it worth it. The location was excellent – yes, it’s at the top of a hill, but as young travellers we didn’t mind at all. There’s also a gentler slope down to the Magaluf strip which made the walk easier. Overall, a fantastic stay – clean, beautifully decorated, friendly staff, great food and a relaxing but lively atmosphere. Would definitely return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This hotel is 3 star for a reason don't expect amazing furniture in room its basic but work.air con in room is great beats 5 star hotels I've been 2 in the past.shower is fantastic in room.its no frills but all the basic stuff works well.

What can I say? Such a beautiful hotel, rooms are splendid, all staff throughout the hotel were welcoming and really went out of their way to make our stay special. Such a great location and such a chilled vibe. The food in the restaurant was incredible and the cocktails were delicious- premium spirits. We went with the half board option and it gave us so much flexibility to make the most of our stay. Still here don’t want to go home.

Stayed here for 7 nights, though at times I wasn’t sure if I’d accidentally booked a hotel or stumbled into a children’s day-care. The background music was less “holiday vibes” and more “CBeebies rave.”

The view was stunning, though slightly less enjoyable when you’re staring longingly at the 5-star hotel across the way from your 3-star shared balcony.

All in all, not a terrible stay. I might even return—next time I’ll bring my colouring pencils and a juice box so I fit in with the theme.

10/10 stay at this hotel!! From the moment we entered ‘till the day we left (and got spoiled with an amazing “end of vacation” drink) we were amazed by all the staff who we really got to know during our 9-day stay: Alex, Pumba, Lisa (& other receptionists), our specialized egg amigo (sorry I forgot your name) and all the workers at the restaurant/bar!!!! It was nice to have a little talk with all of you.. Any questions were answered, food & drinks where top tier & the view from our hotel balcony is one me and my partner will never forget….. Tip: it’s true that the hill can be a little overwhelming but you can always choose to take a taxi/private transfer who will stop at the entrance of the hotel… My partner and I saw it as a little work-out which was fine, it’s not something that make or breaks your holiday P.S. We visited the end of August which was perfect since it was the ending of the season and it was not filled or overwhelmed with young party people, we had a nice relaxed vacation

So close to the strip, very clean and tidy. Single room is small but didnt spent much time there.

No sun bed wars.
Good breakfast.
Can be noisy at night but my issue was the hotel next door. Any noise in the hotel is quickly resolved. I did expect a little disturbance.

The strip itself isn't the nicest but palma nova is nice.

The pool is warm enough, drinks at the bar aren't too badly priced.

I was on Globales one night but I still enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this hotel cause it’s close to the strip, they have a pool, good breakfast and a really good snack bar. Day time (good music, good vibe and just good people) I would say I have to say a big thank you to Cyril, the entertainer who did the beer pong. ❤️ Amazing, funny and he did really well.
