Hotel Caribe Ibiza in Es Canar

We stayed for 10 nights AL basis,very clean hotel,maid cleaned our room daily,fresh towels available if you wanted,just leave on floor or in shower.Food was of a decent standard and always plentiful, deserts really nice. All staff were polite and friendly a special mention to animation team and bar staff.Entertaibment was mixed but we went out most nights so only caught the beginning of each act.We would definitely return to this hotel if back in this area.

We stayed here in August, grandparents, son and partner and three children. We had planned to eat out but didn't bother. The food was very good and better than some 4* we have stayed in. Rooms bright and clean and friendly staff.

We arrived last week and had a fabulous time I will try and give a step by step review of everything the hotel offers. On arrival we had to wait 30 mins for our room which wasn’t a problem we were all inclusive so went to the bar for a drink,the staff at the bar were friendly and served us quickly. ROOMS We then went to our room dumped everything got changed and realised the lock on the balcony was broken,we reported it and headed to the sun beds for the afternoon ( the lock was replaced by the time we went back ) The rooms were clean bright and functional with a free safe and a fridge plenty toilet roll and a hair dryer,toiletries were also included.the rooms were cleaned every day,beds made,towels changed as expected,great air con and I found the beds comfy ( others said they were hard ) FOOD I love my food and we always intended to eat out a few times having stayed in es Cana before ( recommend bar buha and Marvent ) Breakfast had a great choice,coffee was ok but machines slow,toasters were actually ok although a queue often developed. RESTAURANTS lunch and evening meals were absolutely what you’d expect from a 3 star hotel,plenty salads,tasty grill which suited me as a fish lover ( seabass,mackeral,sardines,annchovies,mussels I was in my element )plenty choice and I enjoyed everything I had. SNACK BAR ..to be honest it was disappointing,onion ring label…100% labelled wrongly as they were definitely calamari,I wasn’t bothered as I like both but others were not and were quite rightly unhappy there’s definitely room for improvement with the snack bar choices but you can go to the restaurant instead but at lunchtime if you are wet from being in the pool the restaurant isn’t convenient. BAR. great staff,plenty AI choice,the glass situation works really well and it does improve the mess that’s normally left by patrons,you just have to remember your glass or voucher and we are guilty of having to return to the room for both. I absolutely would return to this hotel,it’s ideally situated it’s immaculate the staff are all friendly,the entertainment crew seemed really good and were very enthusiastic especially with the aqua fit ( don’t sit near the pool edge ) The hotel suited every age group there were toddlers through to elderly people staying…a group of 6 young lads from Manchester airport seemed to make everyone around the pool think they would be trouble….i hope they see this,they were a lovely group of lads,were no trouble at all,we enjoyed watching them in the aqua fit they sat in a corner which seemed to become their loungers for the few days they were there and goodness me they seemed to like baileys and cocktails. WHAT I WOULD CHANGE The only real niggly thing I’d say would be the shower,there was nowhere for your own toiletries,two women sharing a room tend to bring a few different items and they had to just sit in the shower floor,a shelf would have been fabulous,the shower itself was great always hot and a good jet of water to wash aw

Hotel Caribe offered us a family holiday all inclusive experience which we all enjoyed. The hotel is clean and rooms spacious and comfortable. The shower was excellent, and body wash is provided. I would suggest taking your own shampoo and conditioner. Rooms were serviced daily by friendly staff and the hotel reception were swift in assisting us with a problem with the safe. One of our rooms did get a ceiling leak during a huge rain storm but we weren’t on the top floor and never discovered if it was rain or from a shower in a room above. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sun loungers. We never had to worry about finding a place to sit. You need to provide your own beach towels, we bought some Turkish towels from a shop up the road for €4 each. The pool lifeguard was appalling, sitting in a position where he could not see most of the pool, that is if he didn’t have his head in his phone or hiding round a tree smoking. There are many, many people smoking and vaping which somewhat spoils the poolside experience but we were in the minority of people being non-smokers. The drinks service works well despite having a small plastic cup exchange system and it did prevent silly drinking, despite serves of baileys being enormous lol. The bar staff were friendly and attentive and helpful in teaching me more Spanish words as I tried out my language skills throughout the week. The food was average, as expected with a lot of repetition of foods but there was always something to choose from and the salads were fantastic. The hotel entertainment was subpar, with kids evening activities not starting until 8.30pm when most kids were going to bed. The sound system in the hotel is terrible and nobody could understand a word of what the fella was saying. The cabaret acts were very enjoyable and had us all singing along, I didn’t think much of the magician. Daytime outdoor activities were repetitive and didn’t really interest me but the kids did aqua exercise a few times. We went out to Charlie’s bar a few times for a change and really enjoyed it, likewise Popeyes bar was awesome fun. We probably would not return to this hotel, but we had a good week overall.

My friend and I were a bit worried about this trip after reading some of the previous reviews, however, we were pleasantly surprised. We found the staff friendly and approachable, hotel was spotless at all times, roomers were cleaned daily. There was a decent choice of food that was well heated. I’m a fussy eater and had no issues finding something to enjoy. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel’s location is great with many local bars, cafes still operating despite it being off season. The not negative focus was the noise level. You could hear our neighbours and people in corridors but I’ve experienced this at other hotels. Overall this is a really nice, good value hotel. Would have no issues finding recommending it to friends and family.

I wasn't expecting much from the hotel, as it was in the cheaper AI range and reviews were mixed. But I was pleasantly surprised! Pros - Food was perfect. I found the variety of food great and it was tasty. Pizzas, lamb ribs and the fresh baguettes were my highlights. Snack area was handy and ice creams included was a nice touch. - Drinks were a plenty. Ive never been to an AI with this much choice of free drinks. And there were others options to buy others at reasonable prices. - Location. A short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. - Free parking. We hired a car to see more of the island and could park at hotel for free. - Pools. Whilst the splash pool was absolutely freezing - colder than the main pool. the kids loved it. Cons - Entertainment was not great. There was supposed to be a kids mini disco some nights. But it just turned into the main guy putting on his music and doing his own dancing. We did request kids music (even if the kids didn't want to dance with the guy), but that only lasted 1-2 songs. Also all entertainment was very late. Face painting was at 9:15. Main acts weren't starting until 10. - Rooms were outdated. We got put at the side of the building with views over another building. So didn't really spend any time on the balcony. And walls were paper thin so you could hear all of your neighbours. - It would have been a nice touch to have some water in your rooms.

Had a great week at hotel Caribe. Was a really good price so my expectations were not that high and I was so surprised at the hotel. Really clean rooms cleaned everyday with clean towels, staff really friendly, food and drink was great with plenty of choice. Always able to get a sunbed and short walk from beach. Great holiday and I would highly recommend this hotel

Hotel bedrooms are dated and our mattress was hard as wood. We had an interconnected room which we did not ask for and you could hear every thing through the door. Our neighbours on 2 nights were very noisy but this is not the hotels fault. The hotel is spotlessly clean and staff are very friendly, apart from some of the bar staff who need to learn to smile. Restaurant staff are lovely and very quick to clear tables and we never had to wait for a table. Food was lovely with plenty of choice and lots of it. Again never had to wait for food to be topped up Some of the evening entertainment is amusing. My husband has difficulty walking very far and up and down inclines but the hotel was great for him and perfectly located for a walk to the bay This was our first visit and it definitely won’t be our last.
