The staff are extremely rude! Unbelievable how unhelpful the staff actually were. Me and my partner booked a double room with a double bed only to be put in a room with 2 single beds and the staff refused to move us even though that's what we had already paid for. The cleaners stole 70 euros of my money and again reception did absolutely nothing about it. Didn't even get an apology instead got shouted at by the rude women at reception. I requested no cleaners are to come in our room for the rest of the time we was there. Only to find one of the cleaners trying to come in my room the very next day. Everything at the hotel is french even though it's in spain. including the staff, the music, the entertainment. Absolutely nothing here for british people. I previously left this review and they have taken it down, clearly they don't want people knowing about my money been stolen by the cleaners or the fact how rude the staff are. Would never ever return to this hotel if it was the last hotel on earth. Don't come here be the worst mistake you'll ever make.

Had a fantastic all inclusive holiday. Great food, lots to choose from. Plenty to choose from to drink. San Miguel and wines on tap in restaurants. Selection of spirits and cocktails included in all inclusive. The entertainment was excellent. It was supplied by a French company but English was spoken too. Staff friendly. Enjoyed joining in with water aerobics and the dances. Free shuttle to local market and reception organised a trip to Gibraltar which was brilliant too. Was sad to leave as felt so welcome and spoilt. Would definitely go back again. Thank you for a great holiday.

Alll inclusive short break. Authentic Andaluzian style Hotel, former monestry. Great simple swimming pool with loads of beds and plenty available due to time of year no doubt. No frills but presentable accommodation and very clean. Excellent buffet food and varied menu but only there for 5 nights. Hotel aimed at French guests so all entertainment was in French including poolside quiz which left us Brits unable to participate. Very quiet around the hotel and 10-15 minute walk to coast and further 15 mins to Puerto Banús. If you are looking for a lively time best look elsewhere. Would go back.

This is an honest review, starting with the plus points. Staff great, Food very good for a 3 star hotel, brill swimming pool, nice room, good air con, comfortable beds, beautiful hotel in Spanish pueblo style. Now, sadly the bad points, the hotel is virtually exclusive to the French, the entertainment is only in French, we were the only British Couple in the whole hotel, so felt totally alone, sadly some of the French were rude and most do not speak any English. The local drinks are not what you would expect, no Larios Gin, no Vetera, the local drinks are some kind of chemical concoction better suited to drain clearance. San Miguel is the beer serving, so that is ok,oh and proper Pastis, to keep the French Happy, if you do not like either, you've had it. Not true that the staff have no English as per other reviews and we found them to be great. Love Holidays should not feature this hotel as it is for French exclusively,or should state this. We were forced to go out of the hotel every evening in search of entertainment and something nice to drink, was quite expensive for one week A.I, so was unfair we had to do so. For these bad points i will not return to this hotel. To sum up, avoid this hotel unless you are fluent in French and only drink Pastis, cheap wine and San Miguel, anything else you pay full price for like you were half board and is not cheap so have to go out.

We are English and went to this Spanish hotel which caters for French. We had NO problem at all. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and a terrific layout. The food was fine. Tip: have one dish per day, then you won't get fed up. Staff was fine, I believe if you treat people with respect, it will be returned. Obviously the entertainment was French and child like, but we found an area with a nice drink and played cards which suited us as we was busy in the day. Bus stop outside, taking you to banus and and Marbella, cheap and cheerful days out. We hired a car so we went further to Ronda Estopona and overa, through the mountains. A decent walk to San Pedro, where we found a great market. A good 15 minute walk to to the beach, where there was cafes etc A few shops outside hotel but only two and also a nice pizza restaurant. We have been to the next door hotel a few times Cortijo Blanco, which caters more for British. But we never found this hotel bad at all

The hotel itself was beautiful, very clean and food very good. Massive let down was the entertainment. It’s all in French. No English at all. And the animation staff just ignore you the minute they find out you speak English. They don’t engage at the poolside or include you in any games. The evening entertainment is purely all French spoken. Staff highly ignorant if you’re not French. Wouldn’t come back for this purpose. Not diverse or English speaking friendly at all. Paid a lot of money to come here and feel it’s a massive let down.

I really wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel, especially if you are British. The room smelled like sewerage, the food was vile and gave several of our party stomach problems, the all inclusive drinks were poor and unfortunately we have just encountered a terrible experience with one of the rudest hotel staff I’ve ever had the joy of meeting. I will say, some of the reception staff have been helpful but less can be said for the restaurant staff. The hotel is mainly occupied by French people, and that’s ok however if you wanted to use the entertainment it is really just set up for the French. Not all staff understand English, which again is ok however didn’t make us feel welcome. The worst part - We have just checked out and are heading to the airport. The restaurant wasn’t open however we were told by reception staff that they will open up for us to grab a coffee/ pastries and some basic breakfast items, and this was general practice for early departures. When we went in we were greeted by a vile lady who shouted at us in Spanish, grabbed things from our hands, slammed doors and wouldn’t allow us to speak. We asked the receptionist who did try and resolve however we were told we then couldn’t go in. Annoyingly right at that time there were French hotel guests who were allowed in to use the full breakfast area. We then tried again and were again verbally abused my the member of staff. Why would they allow French customers to use the hotel services and not us? We didn’t get an answer… All of our party remained calm and we’re well behaved for the whole stay and have given them no reason to treat us differently. They just don’t like the English here… it’s that simple. On the positive side of things, there is a bar called buddies just up the street who served great food and drinks, also an Irish sports bar both of which we were welcomed with open arms.

- It was cockroaches in the room. The worst service we have ever had. We tried to complain about the room situation about the cockroaches and the lady at the desk started yelling and saying that she couldn’t help us.
