Sahara Sunset in Benalmadena

Lovely spacious apartments in great location. Indoor pool/ jacuzzi was great for cooler days. Restaurant serves lovely food. Staff are friendly and very accommodating.
Well stocked shop on the premises.
Bus stop nearby, for public bus along the coastline to visit other areas.

The apartment, especially for this region, was simply incredible - spacious, with brand-new furniture and on top very, very, very clean! With temperature control, which made the stay even more comfortable.

The bathroom was large and pleasant. The terrace was really big.
The kitchen was fully equipped with many useful items needed for everyday living.
Everything’s was just perfect.

It was also possible to order fresh amazing pastries on the reception – pain au chocolat was the best in my whole life 🫶🏽💛

Great place. Stairs to rooms in case thats an issue. Has a nice restaurant with good priced delicious food. The apprtment is fully equiped. Our room has a sizable balcony with a sea view. Well worth the upgrade. Has a pool and spa. I could live in this place its that good. Highly recommended.

The first thing I want to mention is that this is definitely a place we could return to for a self-catering option. The one-bedroom apartment was more than enough for a family of four. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking. There is a dishwasher, a washing machine, a vacuum cleaner, and a mop. The hotel has a very friendly atmosphere. The staff is fantastic and helpful. The location is great, close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The bus stop is just around the corner. The route to Malaga takes about an hour. We recommend Benalmádena Pueblo, which is a cheap Uber ride of about 15 minutes. From there, it's a walk to Colomares Castle. The Marina Port in Benalmádena is about a 20-minute walk. There are plenty of attractions.

The drinking water filter in the apartment was a game changer, no need to carry heavy bottles from the supermarket…good for the environment too.

Lovely hotel with all you could need for a relaxing easy holiday.
We stayed in 2 bedroom apartment for our family of 5. The apartment was perfect. Pool is nice, with games for kids at different times. Ping pong and mini golf were also a hit with our 3 kids.
Food at the restaurant was delicious, breakfast and lunch. The service might be a little slow at times but we didn't mind as the kids were able to play while we waited in the sunshine.

Caroline and Antonio at reception were particularly friendly and helpful.

Location is perfect

We had an excellent stay in the hotel. The hotel is super nice and the location very good close to beach and the restaurants. Nice pool area. Would definitely stay here also next time.

This hotel is punching above its weight and winning. The staff are all really friendly and really take pride in making sure your stay goes well. While on holiday I had a problem with my suitcase not wanting to unlock (likely due to being thrown about in the plane). The staff helped me and found a solution to get inside by cutting the tags and smoothing them off to avoid injury. Without which I'd have had no clothes for the trip.

While in Spain we had the national power outage which was totally beyond anyone's control. The staff handled this the best they possibly could. Allowing us to gather water from the pool to aid with flushing toilets, which were affected by the power outage. Providing us with candles and matches. As well as the rooms having a torch inside. When the power came back on, they organised a get-together with complimentary drinks and nibbles to thank us for our patience. This was a lovely touch even though this wasn't the hotels fault. The room I stayed in had recently been renovated and I was so impressed by the new design and choices that had been made. The resort was kept clean all the time by the fantastic cleaning team who were always doing something. All members of staff were friendly and were on board with the hotels pledge to reduce its environmental impact. The hotel doesn't have dedicated parking but on street free parking is so easy to find between the hotel and the park that this isn't an issue. The location is minutes away from the seafront and a selection of places to get breakfast and other meals.

I've been to this hotel before, but I've seen a real improvement this year in how Sahara Sunset is being ran. I look forward to seeing how they continue to develop.
