Very convenient for users of ferry to UK. Motorcyclist friendly. Reasonable prices!

Convenient for the hotel only
Convenient for the airport but that’s about it.
Receptionists don’t speak a word of English, we asked for a family room a double and a double with single occupancy bug ended up with 3 doubles which didn’t work for us.

We stayed at the property for 3 nights after completing a section of the Camino Norte. The property was conveniently priced and located. We enjoyed our stay here.

The staff were very friendly. The room was clean. The location was good and, although not next to it, the old town was very walkable from the hotel. The bed was comfortable and we had no issues.

Excellent stay
Although check in seemed a little confusing at first - You just need to go to the first floor and knock one of the two doors that open to reception eventually. After that it was quite easy to check in. The place was very clean it was reasonably priced and the people they were very friendly. There was a salon where you could make tea / coffee heat up meals in the microwave if you wish and a a table to sit at with cutlery plates et cetera provided.

Hostel Lucy makes a good stay. The room is comfortable and very clean. The ceiling fan is greatly appreciated, a room with table and chairs is available for all guests and a fridge is provided in the room. However, noise travels easily through the low insulation walls, though we experienced no problems ourselves. Parking is misleading. You will need to leave your car in a public car park opposite (fortunately free), but spaces are hard to come by. A supermarket and bread shop are both nearby. Useful location for restaurants and a pleasant experience overall. Recommend!

Be really careful not to book this place. The excessive prices are accompanied by: undignified room conditions, lack of air conditioning and basic hygiene especially in the common room with kitchenette. The location is outside the city center and, despite this, it is impossible to find parking because the road is super busy. Room not soundproofed and very humid: bring ear and nose plugs. The light above the bed didn't work. Friendly service but does not make up for the other shortcomings. If it hadn't been August and Santander was full of people, I would have immediately looked for another accommodation.

The room we stayed in had been renovated and the stay could not have been better. The guy at the reception, very friendly, attentive to any questions and helping with everything. Clean room, very comfortable bed and the bathroom, very cool and practical. There is a free parking lot in front where we were lucky to be able to park without much difficulty! We will return without a doubt!
