Salamanca, 1Pza. del Mercado 16 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Genuinely friendly and very helpful staff. Room ready early. Bed very comfortable and great bathroom. Complimentary bottle of water and a jar of sweets for Dias del muerto plus a chocolate next to the pillow. Town map supplied and suggested places to visit. Breakfast was extremely good - very fresh and a great variety offered. It was also quiet at night.
Perfect location in the centre of old town. Room is quiet. We slept very well. Bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is good. It’s include omelette, yogurt, fresh orange juice, cakes, toasts, jamon, cheese, corn flakes. Highly recommend for 1 night in Salamanca.
The hotel is clean and very centrally located, just steps from the main tourist attractions in the city center. The breakfast is varied and of good quality. The staff is friendly. However, the poor soundproofing of the rooms made it difficult for us to sleep one of the two nights we were there, as we could hear the noise from the street and neighboring rooms.
Please be careful when entering the parking lot if you have wet hands.
Excellent hotel, very well located. The only issue was the room's soundproofing, which wasn't ideal; we were disturbed by a guest in a neighboring room during the first night. The staff were cooperative and tried to find a solution. However, the hotel was full, so we ended up using earplugs.
Near to attractive places. Just difficult to get car parking

Salamanca, Calle la Marina 15-19 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We stayed here because our daughter was living close by. Small room, comfortable beds and good coffee, all we needed. Very inexpensive. Not close to the center of Salamanca but it was close to our daughter.
We had a lovely stay on our way to the uk from Portugal. The man on reception wasn’t very lovely! Dog treats on reception and a lovely comfortable clean room. Best night sleep I have had in ages. Very clean too. Muchas gracias!
Better than other Ibis hotels we have stayed at. Maybe we were lucky with the room we got. Managed to get a good nights rest and breakfast was good.
Basic but good value. V central location so easy to walk to the main sites. Very helpful staff on reception. Car park is underneath for 10euros - quite tight to drive around and park but secure. Breakfast is plentiful.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly hotel.
Room basic but modern, no fridge or tea making in room.
Very comfortable large bed. Clean functional bathroom, soap and shampoo supplied.
Breakfast was good, and very fresh.
Underground parking an added cost, but beware, our car bottomed out when leaving , fortunately no damage.
Location of the hotel was a bit of a drama to get to.
Would stay here...
The cleanliness, the rooms, and the parking were all quite good, but I'm only giving a negative review for the facilities because there are only one power outlet in the room, and it doesn't really matter if it's next to the bed, but there isn't one in the bathroom, which is quite inconvenient. Otherwise, I liked it a lot.

Salamanca, 31 Teso de la Feria (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
A 2-star hotel, more than adequate for its star rating. €70 per night on a Saturday. I've read some reviews that it's easy to park on the street in that area, but the times I've been, you have to go around in circles to find a spot. The Parador de Salamanca is right across the street.
The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the center, with easy parking and a quiet neighborhood. The room is simple with comfortable bedding. My only complaint is the shower head, which could use replacing.
Large window in front of the Parador Nacional of Salamanca. Comfortable and well-warmed beds for winter, air conditioning, good and spacious shower, ....good neighborhood, there is usually parking nearby...200m away there is one of the best churrería in Salamanca
Simply Excellent, in every way. Angela, Ana, Javier, the team during the day, very attentive, charming and welcome on the night shifts, very friendly. 20 minutes walk from the center. Quiet area that is appreciated. We will return without a doubt.

What not to love about this place! Everything is absolutely fantastic. Hotel itself, staff, breakfast is to die for! Hotel location absolutely perfect!
Gorgeous hotel! Peaceful, serene, clean, great location. The only thing I didn’t love was the beds. Our family room beds were really hard and not very comfortable. Everything else was impeccable!
We had a wonderful six-night stay. The hotel has a great location - short walk from the plaza but far enough way to escape the crowds. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very professional. Room was clean and had a nice desk for working. Reliable and fast internet. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Salamanca.
Stunning location in Salamanca
Outstanding. Perfect location. Professional and helpful staff.
My husband and I enjoyed a really lovely one night stay here. The hotel is a small, boutique hotel, very close to the main Salamanca attractions. It’s beautiful and our room was lovely. Staff were friendly and attentive. If I could design my own bathroom, it would be modelled on the hotel room bathroom!
Wonderful 5 star hotel - heart of old Salamanca!
This place is AMAZING! Centrally located

A place with character and very clean with amazing and helpful staff.
...but very inconvenient for non-resident since the check in is under a software link and no work properly as the disadvantages for the amount of applications thst exist today to downloading the required info!!!...I guess that a 24/7 deck services is highly needed 😉
Stayed for one night as we were traveling to Morocco. Room spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. There is a fridge in the room. Breakfast was a good continental affair that was good quality and tasty. There was secure parking but it is limited but there appears to be plenty of on street parking. Good value for money that I couldn't fault
Reception without personal intervention. If telephone broke I'd be not able to check-in. It got solved with 2 calls, but it's stressful and takes longer to check-in than necessary...
The gentleman at the front desk was very courteous and helpful. The price was decent, but you definitely get what you pay for. Many hairs were found in the bedding. Also, upon getting in the shower and closing the door, you can see that the bottom of the shower door in the corner is covered in black mold. Had we not arrived in Salamanca so late at night, we would have packed up and left for another...
A decent hotel in a quiet area across the river and short walk from Salamanca's ancient center, the staff were friendly and helpful. There was no parking available in their garage, but we found free street parking just a block away and saved €12. The room was basic and beds comfy, but the radiators were on and there was no remote for the AC, so the room was hot and we had to leave the window open...
Salamanca is very magical city. The hotel is on perfect location. Free parking and lovely reception. Room was perfect clean and big

The staff are very nice and are very accomodating. The hotel is very close to the shopping area, the plaza mayor and all other major shops, museums, etc. Everything was accessible and you can just walk your way around the city. Our check-in time was 14:00 but we arrived earlier. We had suitcases but the male front desk staff allowed us to leave our things while we were out so we didn't have to carry...
Location is great and the staff was friendly. The rooms however are a bit dated. The walls are paper thin. I woke up to people talking in the room next to mine. Rooms are not equipped with anything other than a bed, TV, blankets, towels and soap. The views from the top floor are great.
Pros:
The price! We only paid €80 for two rooms on a weekday in October.
The view! From the 6th floor we had a beautiful city view.
The location - very central and pretty quiet at night.
The friendly reception staff, the cleanliness, and the charming traditional look.
Thanks to the metal shutters, you can block out a lot of sunlight, heat and noise.
Check-in is at 14 and check-out is at 12 which is...
Basic hotel, only stayed for one night, the staff was alright, not excellent but not terrible either. I had woken up late and missed the breakfast, I asked the morning lady and she concurred that indeed the breakfast hours had ended. As I was leaving in a hurry right at check out she brought up “oh and you had breakfast reserve too”, but I sensed a sarcastic tone. So yeah…. Lol
Great value for money! Nice hotel in the center of Salamanca, we stay 2 nights and it’s right next to the main shopping street, over 5 minutes walking till the main square and surrounded by everything u need for comfy staying, with comfortable beds and very charming staff.

Incredibly clean room! Enjoyed having truly hot water for my shower. Easy to access and a short walk to the historic downtown.
Could clearly hear the loud electronic beeps from people pressing five digit access codes into the key pads to get into the rooms near mine. (Bring some earplugs if that might wake you up.)
Great hostel and very nice staff. Near everything. 10/10 would recomend!
It's a hostel so my expectations were low but it was very outdated. Also, the walls were very thin. We heard everything from the room next door... everything!
The Hostal Mindanao was a real find and as good as anywhere that I have stayed at the price. It is handily placed for the bus station and the major sights of Salamanca. Initially I had shared facilities and asked to be moved when an en suite became available. This happened and I was helped with the move. It is clean and with character. Wi-fi is available and 24hr reception with very helpful staff....

The place is super located, both from the bus station and the center. It is very clean and comfortable. Mr. José at the reception is very friendly. Highly recommended, we will definitely return to continue exploring such a beautiful city, don't miss it.
Price-quality is acceptable, the only drawback is the lack of an elevator to go up to the first floor. The rest for spending a few nights is quite good. Also 10 minutes from the center, which makes it easier for you not to have to take public transport.
Great place to visit Salamanca, just 2 minutes walking to the center, nice and clean rooms, although shower is a bit small

The reception staff were great. The lobby looks nice enough. We weee able to get street parking and the neighbourhood was safe. However, the curtains in our room were very old and tattered…that couple with the paint gave a bit of a jail vibe. This can be overlooked but the noise was awful. The walls must be made of paper. We heard everyone in the hall and in the room next door. We could hear them clearly...
Very helpful staff, easy parking by prior arrangements.
10 minutes walk from the old town of Salamanca.
Very loud traffic noise for most of the night. There is nothing the hotel can do to resolve this. All other local hotels will suffer traffic noise.
Continental breakfast was, at best,
mediocre
Good stay in Salamanca
Good comfortable stay in Salamanca in a nice spacious room.
Excellent structure near the train station and a short distance from the historic center. Excellent quality/price ratio. Professional and helpful staff, especially the guy who works/ afternoon/evening. I recommend the hotel for one night or even for a longer period.
Not that easy to find as set back off the road. Sat nav took me to correct road, but still had to ask. Room a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. Staff on reception were excellent. Underground carpark was a biut tight as you would expect.
It is the best low cost option. Clean, nice room and a good staff. I really recomend.

Excellent hotel . Premium location , attentive staff . Lovely
Amazing historical hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff will make you feel home. Thank you very much to Eva, Nico and the rest of the staff for being helpful during our first stay in Salamanca. Hotel location, breakfast buffet are great. Will be back soon.
First, parking is valet.. Free... Since parking is next to the building.. 23EUR..
If u have huge luggage... Is a problem.. Need to carry about 15 steps up the stairs., although the staff offer to help.
Room is classic and super, no complaints.
Room windiw view of the cathedral... Holy night
The location is very good, you can see the cathedral. The room is small and the breakfast is simple
Very good, worth having, the breakfast in the quiet morning is good, and the scenery outside the window and door is even better.
I will stay here next time. Parking is also convenient. There are 2.2/2 hours in the surrounding area, free from 8 pm to 8 am, which is 13/day; (free on the roadside on Sundays) or park in the hotel’s own parking lot 19/day;
Around 5 mins walk from Plaza Mayor. Hotel used to be a 15th century palace. Reception and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. View of the Salamanca Cathedral from the room was impressive. Great breakfast buffet options.

all good, great view, clean rooms and friendly hosts!
Everything was fine and we liked the service at reception. And the views from the room.
Lovely city, clean and friendly. Downside to hotel no parking. The food was amazing I can honestly say the best tapas we have ever eaten, well done guys.
It’s a nice hotel in a building with history, and the workers were nice. I had nice views from my window, but unfortunately my first floor room smelled of sewage.
Well-located hotel with parking nearby and the city center within walking distance. A great option for visiting the city in comfort and style.
Lovely little hotel with a gorgeous outdoor seating area, surrounded by an old wall. Lovely to sit out on during a hot day!
The location is perfect to walk up to the cathedrals and then up the main streets to the centre. Also can walk down to the river.
Breakfast was simple but enough choice.
I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

A very nice hotel, clean and quiet, with ac that was appreciated during the hot spell. The staff was friendly and helpful and hotel is in an excellent location near the historic area. There is a 6 euro breakfast buffet at 8am that was ok.
People were very nice. Room is basic. Facilities are basic. A/C was not effective. Breakfast was ok. Basic and coffee maker was broken. I would have given a lower rating if it wasn’t for the friendliness of staff.
Very much enjoyed this hotel. Great location about 2 minutes from the cathedral and near loads of eating places. The rooms are a bit tired but that doesn't worry me. You have to turn the tap on and wait for the hot water but it gets there eventually. The lady on reception was welcoming and helpful.

This property has three assets. First and foremost is location, which is excellent. The second is price, which is roughly half of any other adjacent property. The third is a very comfortable bed. There are also some deficits to the property, but none are severe and most align with the price. For our purpose of coming over to Salamanca for one evening it was just right.
Very nice except the location at night was very noisy which woke me up.
Location was excellent. Good value
Fantastic
Fantastic location, close to Plaza Mayor and all the landmarks. Spacious room and bathroom, very clean, with aircon. Would definitely stay again.
We recently spent a month in Spain and stayed on 11 different properties; a few costing 3 times as much. This little jem was by far the best. Cozy, comfortable and attractive and just steps from the largest plaza in Spain. Quiet with pleasant views. Highly recommend!
The hotel is right next to Plaza Mayor, and there is a small garden outside the window or on the small balcony. Excellent location and value for money!

Noisy guests
Really clean. Reception staff not in hotel so feels unwelcoming. 2 nights of very noisy other guests in the early hours of the morning. Great central location.

Great place to stay in Salamanca. Customer service is wonderful. Great location for local restaurants and plaza mayor.
We Stayed for one night and the room was a beautiful pairing of modren and old design and had a sky light. The service at the desk was very welcoming and spoke english. The elevator is made of beautiful glass including in the lobby. A must see and stay. We will deffinately return if in Salamanca!
Lovely hotel. A warm welcome and very hospitable throughout my stay. Very clean, nicely decorated rooms and communal areas. I stayed in the loft room. Being 6foot was not a problem. Whilst the breakfast had a small set up I had everything I could want. For what you pay, in this location I couldn’t ask for more.
It’s a simple hotel with a simple breakfast but worth the stay because it is centrally located (about 7 min walk to Cathedral) and for those with a mobility impairment, it does have an elevator. Both Reception and Cleaning staff are excellent, I would recommend and stay again.
I had a great couple of nights at this hotel. It is a great bargain in Salamanca. It is is located within 5-10 minutes of most of the main sights. Service is excellent for the level of hotel it is. This hostal is part of a chain that is run by one person. Most of the interaction is done by phone. He always answers the phone when needed though. The rooms are pretty small with barely any space left to move around. They are enough for one person but not two.

This is a no frills hotel which is very clean within 10 minutes walking to the centre of Salamanca. There is parking outside the hotel or in a secure underground car park for 10 Euros extra. The room rates are very good and they provide breakfast at an extra cost. The rooms are basic but adequate and good value for the price.
