This hotel is very convenient to all the major sites, some hints if you have 3 or more in your party call a cab it is quicker and cheaper than the metro!
We ate breakfast at charelot, a burger joint which was very good, saffron, cerversia catelona, etc not a bad meal to be found. The cost of food is significantly cheaper than at home, our most expensive meal for 4 adults was 115 EU, that included appetizers, wine, main meal, and desert!!
We did NOT rent a car!
You can't do better than this hotel❤❤.
Washing machine: much needed after 10 days across Europe. Full size fridge, microwave oven, stove, cutlery, all useful for comfortable stay - mini-marts & small supermarkets all around.
Service: Reception team rocks!
Great Eixample neighborhood: authentic cafes & tapas bars, PdG shopping, easy walk to Barri Gotic, Metro, bus, cabs, etc.
For all above, their rates make it a great value.
DISLIKES (outweighed by LIKES): Bedroom & bathroom a bit cramped.
Some furnishings worn down, e.g. need plusher towels.
