I don’t normally leave review but this place it terrible. Paper thin walls, uncomfortable beds and tv remote with rusty batteries so all you have keeping you awake is everyone snoring in the rooms around you to listen too, brutal!

I probably encountered the famous receptionist that is rude and highly unprofessional. He shouted at me and my guest. Long story short he forbid me to have an occasional guest even if registered with proper ID. He wouldn't give me his name, so I will call him the short, stocky receptionist with the unkept beard.
He wouldn't give me the name of his manager or the an email or a phone number. I asked for company policy on visitors in the hotel and he simply said "You are not allowed to have visitors, not even with proper ID". He physically came at me when I challenged him. He kept saying that there was no company policy, just he said no visitors. Highly unprofessional, no customers skill at all, aggressive, dismissive, probably racist.
Good luck if you are a solo traveller and you encounter him.

Very nice stay. The staff was very friendly and nice to everyone. The room was clean and cosy. The sea was near, the city centre too.

Very thin walls you can hear every footstep.
Rude guy at the front desk, kindly asked him to speak english, kept shouting passive aggressively at us in spanish.
Very important: this hotel does not offer parking, contrary to what they have advertised, they will send you to a public (and rather shady) parking 500m from where the hotel is.
Not coming here again.

My partner and I stayed here for one night for a quick stop off/rest as part of a larger trip. The accommodation was pretty much as expected for a budget hotel. Quick, efficient, super affordable, good location.

Small, friendly and good value.
Small friendly hotel with a nice breakfast. Rooms are small but well maintained. No lift and showers have a step to access so might be tricky for people with limited mobility. Also note that it is at the bottom of a hill which leads up to the centre of town. El Serrallo marina is a shot walk away on the flat with a range of restaurants. Really nice staff who made us welcome.

Basic accommodation but very clean and such friendly staff , great value and would highly recommend. Walking distance to the attractions, close to train station. Will be staying here again

Everything was great but they to add oatmeal to the breakfast as spouse needed for dietary restrictions we ate somewhere else but would have ate at the property otherwise

Great location, good value for a budget stay. Rooms are smallish and lack much soundproofing but furnishings were comfortable and the room heater worked really well (chilly spring weather). Front desk personnel were uniformly friendly and helpful.
