Pool is reasonable, with sun beds around. Plenty of evening entertainment during the week.
Although the hotel’s slogan says “We would like you to feel like your home,” we did not feel comfortable at all, as smoking was allowed everywhere.
We booked a room with a balcony overlooking the pool and the sea, but we couldn’t enjoy the view or the sunshine. Guests below us (on two balconies) and right next to our room were constant smokers, which made it impossible to sit outside. It seems this hotel is designed only for smokers. Non-smokers should really think twice before booking, because there is no consideration for them.
At check-in, no one asked if we preferred a non-smoking section. To be honest, I don’t think such a section even exists in this hotel.
We were traveling as a family with a 3-year-old child, and the situation was even worse during the children’s evening entertainment. People were smoking right between the stage and the pool, where kids were gathered. When I politely asked one lady not to smoke around children or to move further away, it caused an unpleasant scene. A young man working at the bar told us that smoking is allowed in that area. I asked if he would let strangers smoke next to his own child if his family didn’t smoke, and his answer was simply: “Here everyone can smoke.”
This experience left us with a very negative impression and completely destroyed any desire to return to this hotel in the future.
We had an amazing stay at 4R Playa Park in Salou! From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were welcoming, friendly, and super helpful – nothing was too much trouble. The bar staff kept us laughing all holiday with their great sense of humour and fun vibes.
The pools were fantastic – clean, spacious, and perfect for both adults and kids. The children’s facilities were excellent, keeping our little ones entertained all day. The entertainment team really went above and beyond with great activities during the day and fun shows at night – something for everyone!
Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the beds were really comfy. We also loved the variety of food – there was always something tasty and plenty of choice at every meal. And even with the hotel being busy, there was always loads of space to relax by the pool.
The location is perfect too – just a short walk to the beach, so we had the best of both worlds.
All in all, a fantastic hotel with great staff and brilliant facilities. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back!
Slightly disturbing thing was that the Quadruple room was just a Double room to which two beds had been added, so there wasn't even enough room for luggage.
