The only negative point we can make is the soundproofing between the rooms which is really not good. Otherwise the cleanliness is great, the welcome too, the staff is great too. The cocktails are very good. We recommend.

Fantastic little find. We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great, and the room (and balcony on the top floor) was perfect for our trip. That place is much more than just a hostal or bed and breakfast, it's just an unbeatable value for a price in my opinion. Had a great stay at Hostal Mediterraneo. It’s really more of a bed and breakfast than a Hostal. They recently renovated the place and it looks great. No staff present. They have a "virtual reception" and you have to call them for any issues. Rooms are okay, no mini fridge which we didn't realise. That was a bummer when we wanted to hang out in the balcony and have some beers

We had the most unique and the warmest experience in Hotel Tarull. The owner Luis is a special person with unending energy fulfilling every needs of his guests to make their stay flawless. I have been staying at the Cap d'Or since the mid 1980s. The size of the hotel and its location cannot be beat. Yes, it's a bit distant from parking, but the walk through town is enjoyable. The positive thing about the hostel is it location. It is within one kilometer from the bus stand and the beach. In fact, some rooms have view of the fort (just one tower though) from its balcony. The rooms were spacious which adds to the positive rating. However, the cleanliness of the washrooms definitely needs to improve. And the shower was not working as expected.

This place was a great surprise! Was recommended to us by a local, and I am so glad we went. The food was really good (recommend the frankfurter with pickles and friend onions), wait staff were really outgoing, enjoying life, speak great English! Live music was also really fun! If you're looking for something cheap it's a good place to stay. The room was clean and tidy. Clean bathroom. sheets and towels, daily cleaning service and good location. Friendly staff too. It gets very hot, there's a fan in the room which helps a bit. The hotel is very.. very... noisy, paper-thin walls and the door doesn't isolate much either. One of the cheapest places in Tossa to stay, however not a bad one. Don't take the rooms with "windows on the courtyard", actually they have a window in a well. We stayed in a standard room with balcony and were very pleased with everything.
