Hotel Cap d'Or - Children Only from 14 Years Old in Tossa de Mar

In a town filled with generic accommodations, Cap d’Or is a charming option with so much history and character. It’s run by the sweetest family and boasts the waterfront’s best view. Small but cozy rooms with all the necessities. Delicious breakfast with homemade cakes made by one of the owners. The restaurant also serves fresh seafood and local dishes. In my opinion the best place to stay in Tossa.

The food was delicious and the service was pretty fast. If you wanna eat something typical without falling in to the classic beach trap this is the place to go. Seafood is excellent and views are unbeatable. This comes from a local, salut i visca el barça!

We came to this hotel a few times during our stay in Tossa to sit on the lovely seating area right by the seafront. The staff were really friendly, and made us feel very welcome. There is a decent selection of drinks, snacks and tapas which meant we came at various times throughout the day which was perfect. The coffee was really tasty, the drinks were reasonably priced and the food was DELICIOUS - especially the tortilla which was fabulous.

We had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant during our visit to Tossa de Mar. The view was simply spectacular — it truly added something special to the meal. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The staff were kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. It was a fantastic experience overall, and we would definitely return. Highly recommended!

I am so happy I chose this beautiful hotel. The lovely lady in charge is so chatty and friendly. I feel like I found a true paradise staying here, in the best location, in this exquisitely beautiful town. The restaurant food is amazing. Everyone here is so happy and kind. What a fabulous couple of days, so close to Barcelona by bus. Thank you lovely ladies at Cap d'Or!

Looking for a one of a kind experience? How about staying in a delightful small hotel at the base of a castle on a beach? Hotel Cap d'Or did not disappoint. Charming room with a fantastic view of the beach, solid breakfast, cheap beachside sangria and close to everything.

We stayed nine days and had the pleasure of being booked in room 107, the only one with a fabulous balcony and view of the beach. Angela and Anna were the most wonderful hosts, of course assisted by the ever present Gordito. The room was quaint and well kept by the housekeeper. The wonderful breakfast, which was included had a nice local selection every morning, not to mention the best cafee on the beach under the orange umbrellas. Since the Cafe closed at 8 pm, this end of town was very quiet and sitting out on the balcony was divine. If you're looking for a place that has been in Tossa since 1954, this family owned business is the place to stay. Make sure to keep Gordito stocked up on treats, as he complained that the kitchen ladies were holding out! Enjoy your stay.
