Hotel Cap d'Or in Tossa de Mar

Beautifully positioned right on the beach with an amazing view and lovely staff. Would highly recommend this lovely boutique stay over. Can’t wait to come back. Colin & Grainne 🇮🇪

I have been staying at the Cap d'Or since the mid 1980s. The size of the hotel and its location cannot be beat. Yes, it's a bit distant from parking, but the walk through town is enjoyable. I have seen the changes from fans to air conditioning, no television to tvs and Wi-Fi. Great breakfast, wonderful terrace for drinks, tapas and people watching. The family who owns and manages the hotel treats me like a family member. May and September are perfect...Tossa can be very crowded in July and August.

We loved this quaint little hotel, it is very charming with AC and has a at home type atmosphere. It’s Right on the beach, next to the castle and walking distance to everything. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant had excelente service. If we come back to Tossa de Mar we will stay here again!

This was just a last minute trip before leaving Barcelona and I picked this great little hotel at the foot of the Tossa de Mar. It is surrounded by great little restaurants and of course the historical and breathtaking views.

The best part of this stay was the service provided by the hotel staff. Wonderful staff and the breakfast was AMAZING. I got lost trying to find parking (somewhat difficult with normal GPS), and when I called the hotel she told me to stay put and she ran from the hotel to my location and then guided me back to the hotel.

Tempted to give 1 star and a bad review just to sway people away so there will be more room for me and my friends at this gem of a place. Quaint. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Can't beat the location - right on the beach and under the old town. Relatively speaking, not too expensive. Good value. Would go back in a heartbeat.
