Worst experience ever !! !!!!!!!!!! Make Fawlty towers look like a 5 star operation! Must be the worst hotel in negombo .

What a horrible hotel, the staff are rude and haven't got a clue about customer service. The worst restaurant I have been to in the world, and believe me I have been to a few. Don't bother as no one speaks a word of English which is fine but I asked for a bottle of white wine and the waiter serving us didn't know what white wine was.

I stayed there for one night as it was provided free of charge during my transit with SriLankan Airlines. The building is old, and most of the shower and sink faucets are broken. The bed's mat is soft and feels like sleeping on a sponge. The sheets also had stains that wouldn't come off even after washing, so they didn't feel clean. There is no TV or refrigerator. The cupboard door was falling apart and wouldn't close properly. The frames of the windows in the bathtub were rusty and not clean. To eat, go to a restaurant during the designated time and order what you like from the menu. The meal itself wasn't bad. About 30 minutes by bus from the airport. There is a beach nearby. When I went out to the beach, an old man who could speak some Japanese called out to me. After talking for a while, he asked me to buy him a handmade souvenir. I bought some knowing they were expensive. I guess it's an airport transit hotel. On my way there, I stayed at another Full Moon Hotel as a transit, but this one was much better.

Wow. This place is terrible... and I mean terrible. As with the previous reviewer, I was sentenced to 12+ hours here after I was bumped off an overbooked flight. It is an absolute disgrace that shows the airline to be the national embarrassment it is. This hotel is FILTHY. The lobby area stinks and there is grime everywhere. The pillow cases haven't even been laundered for gods sake. One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in.

The worst hotel I have ever had to stay in. We were given this place as accomodation when our flight by Srilankan airlines got cancelled. After i got the voucher I checked and saw it was 3 star hotel. We were returning home after a 7 day trip in Srilanka and all of us were tied. Since it was marked as a 3 star hotel i expected a clean room with air conditioning and palatable food. Our rooms were in the first floor. The whole hotel smelled like the ocean. They didn't have room freshener or anything to make the smell go away. The AC and fan in one of the rooms didn't work, and we switched to a different room after dinner. There were mosquitoes in all the rooms and the only solution offered was a mosquito repellent. The food was terrible. It smelled like spoilt food. All that we ate was bread with butter and ice cream. My toddler went to bed with just a glass of milk after a long and tiring day. I just saw the cost of this place, it is not worth even 1/10 of the price they claim for it to be. Please do not accept this hotel if Sri Lankan airlines offers it to u in case of a cancellation or transit

Had to spend one night over there duty an unexpected flight issue. We were transferred to this hotel by air port transfer service. The hotel experience was like not so good. We were given the dinner, a buffet with almost no options. Rooms was too dusty. Mosquitoes - no needs to talk about it by word of mosquitoes you can experience it . Staff is average. Any way from airport if it asked which hotel do you need from transfer counter , try to select any other except this

Accomodation was provided by SriLankan Airlines. I stayed here as a Transit passenger for one night. Beds were ok. Bathroom was not clean. Breakfast provided was good. It was not a Buffet breakfast due to the no of people stayed in the accommodation on that particular day. Only 3 people were there in the accommodation on the Sunday night I stayed. Accomodation is right on the beach. It raised heavily on the night. Next morning i could see coconuts fell on the ground due to heavy wind. Natures sight of beauty. Did not have the opportunity to check the locality as it was raining. None of the shops were opened even at 7am in the morning. Overall ok kind of place to stay. May not suit for a family to stay due to cleanliness in the bathroom.
