We had a great stay at 8+ Plus Motels Hotel. The room, bathroom, and kitchen were all very clean and well maintained. The pool was beautiful and amazing—definitely a highlight of our stay. The staff were very kind and helpful, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

The place was very nice for family's travling to gather, the pool was the amazing and we had lots of fun and the staff were very friendly. Sad that we could only last one night, but made the most of it. We'll definitely be back.

Do not book this place through Booking.com. They cancelled my reservation without any valid reason. It seems like the owner is trying to take advantage of the situation and charge more. I’m really disappointed with how the owner responded, very rude and unprofessional.

Update on owners reply:

See how the owner is responding without even offering an apology. My wife called you before we made the booking, and you confirmed availability, that’s the only reason I booked two rooms. One of the couples travelling with us is Italian, and they personally checked your property and asked me to make the reservation. They were extremely disappointed with what happened.
I tried to make the payment and entered all my card details, waiting for your confirmation. Instead, after more than 24 hours, I received an email saying the booking was cancelled. That is completely unprofessional.

During our phone call, you told me that “for that amount we don’t have any rooms” and then hung up. That was rude and unacceptable. If there was a genuine issue, you should have explained it properly. You spoke as if I had done something wrong.
I also recommended your place to guests from Australia who are currently staying there. They themselves told me that the property does not look like the photos and that I’m lucky I didn’t book with you. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
I export products and bring in over USD 100,000 per month in remittance to Sri Lanka. I deal with international and local customers daily, and I treat everyone with equal respect. That’s how business should be done.

So please, instead of blaming others, just accept the mistake. Don’t treat locals like this. Learn how proper customer service works, many other Sri Lankan businesses do it far better.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making everything so easy for us and truly making us feel at home. The hotel itself was stunning, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience – highly recommended!

Such a wonderful property, very well maintained! The guava drink provided during check-in was absolutely delicious. To take the experience to the next level, some improvements are needed in maintaining the bathroom fixtures and windows, as a few were damaged. Overall, it was a great experience.

we went to celebrate a birthday
the decorations done were really pretty
the birthday cake which was included in the package was very yummy
the motel is very well maintained
the place was very clean and neat
very homely yet modern interior which gives a very pleasant environment to have a wonderful time
the owner was very friendly and made it very comfortable for our group
the pool was so much fun
we were given a late check out and it was definitely an amazing day out
would definitely recommend the place and revisit as well

Great hotel. Good location with easy access to beach, shopping and city centre (walk or a short tuk tuk ride). There's parking for two or three vehicles. Much more spacious than what appears in the photos. Great pool. Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Sajana (owner / manager) was very helpful during our stay. Highly recommended.
