The staff was great. The breakfast wonderful. The beach is a one minute walk. I highly recommend this place!

Do not book this place, I had a confirmed booking, when I arrived from India, initially the attendant, told me there's no booking, after trying to contact flipkart and clear trip whise customer support is equally pathetic, after some time she checked her mail and said there is booking but no room available, later she gave me a single bed room, which was not yhe toom i booked, the lady was continously demanding me to either tale the room or leave the property. As I was tired and there was no support from flipkart or clear trip, was forced to take the room. The room condition is also poor the ac doesn't work, no kettle, wifi is pathetic namesake only. The fan squeaks. Do not book this place, as it was midnight I really had no option the ans from cleartrip and the property attendant was take the room or cancel the booking was pathetic, Just to save a few bucks please do not fall in the similar mess I am in. Stay clear.......

An oasis off the main beach road that allowed me time to adjust after a late night arrival. Had full breakfast (additional charge) to start the day - well presented and ample. AC, hot water, tv and access to nearby restaurants and of course the beach.

I arrived at the hotel at around 5 am and the owner kindly let me check in at that time (I had paid for the previous night) so didn't have to hang out at the airport forever after an extremely long trip to Sri Lanka which I had read was an issue at other hotels. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were very basic but clean. There was tea and coffee in the room but no heating kettle, so you couldn't actually make coffee even though instant coffee was sitting there was there which was a bummer.

Lovely property. It's just off the main road (about 1/2 block) down an alley, so was hard to find in the dark until we called and the owner turned on a large lit-up sign. Location is easy walking access to dozens of restaurants, souvenir shops, and other stores so was a good location to be at. Easy walk to the beach and very easy to catch a Tuk tuk on the main road to go into the heart of town or the airport. It's maybe a 15-min drive to the airport. Would def. stay here again and would recommend to others.

What a great place! Nicely furnished, clean & comfortable. The owner is FANTASTIC & she makes a yummy breakfast every morning. Everything that you need is nearby, restaurants, bars, live music, shopping. The beach is directly across the street. You can also use the facilities of the resort across the street for 2,000 rupees per day. This includes beach chairs, towel, pool, wi-fi, restaurant & bar. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Sri Lanka.

A lovely stay!
A really nice hotel about fifty yards from Negombo beach. It is in a little alley off the main road and is well situated and clean. The staff were lovely also. A tuk tuk will take you to the main sites in a few mins for about 500 rupees. The locals are really lovely - almost everyone will stop to speak to you or to say good morning. A really nice start to a month in Sri Lanka!

The hotel room has a stinky face and a very cold attitude. After observing it, it is not only cold to us but also to all Western tourists. There was no quilt. It was almost freezing at night and I took out my own clothes to cover myself. There were no toiletries or shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom.

I don’t care about other things. From what I’ve observed so far, it seems that this country doesn’t know what a quilt is. Why is it that every hotel doesn’t have one?

Stayed for 2 nights after arriving from the airport, and before our trip in Sri Lanka.
Rooms are very clean and spacious, very quiet AC or ceiling fan if you prefer.
Lovely well kept property with an easy access to the sea where you are able to swim but unfortunately very little shade on the beach.
Would recommend 100%

Need a comforter or a good bed sheet in rooms. Their food is superb and quality. Also it worth for the price. Rooms should be more clean. There's a good view of the ocean. Would visit again.

Have to say the food was pretty dire. Had a chicken and a prawn dish for lunch that was akin to a ready to eat meal from your local grocery store. Can't really pick out a single thing to compliment, suggest to avoid!

We went back after our first dinner to get lunch and breakfast the days after. Dinner was really nice, I had the vegetarian kotu rotti and it was really good. For dessert, the fried banana is a recommendation. It was a little surprised for me that the sweet potato fries were really 'sweet' fries from normal potato with a sweet sauce. But it was good anyway. For breakfast I had the vegetable wrap and my brother had the avocado toast. Both dishes were a good start of our day.

After walking a bit in Negombo we chose this restaurant as it seemed nice from the outside and the menu looked good and not too expensive. We ordered at 21h30 and got the first dish at 22h50. We almost walked away at several points but we were hungry and the waiter kept saying it was almost there. When it finally came the food was alright nothing special and certainly not worth an horrible service and 1h20 of waiting without any complimentary appetizers or else. The service is truly awful, avoid at all cost. They also surprisingly increase the menu prices when you get the bill. Worst experience I had in a restaurant!

We were looking for a place to sit in the beach enjoy some food and drinks and watch the sunset.

This was perfect for that, they have a lovely sitting area on a platform on the beach which had a lovely ambiance to it.

The food was nice and quality good. We had some spicy crab and kottu roti which was made accordingly to the person. So we had a spicy version and a non spicy version. The prawns were nice too.
