We had a lovely stay at Jetwing Blue Negombo.  The setting is lovely , right on the beach.  Rooms were lovely , we had a second floor room with a balcony opening towards the sea and view. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.  Thank you for a memorable stay.

Nice stay for layover close to hotel

Great bed/mattress, breakfast was 1 day a la carte, and 1 day buffet. Breakfast was ok, but 20 dollars is overpriced for Sri Lanka standards. The airconditioning has 2 settings; OFF or freezing cold. The blankets are warm so it wasn't a big issue. The service was very chaotic. Offering coffee, and no action, and the billing system is a mess for example.

There is a lot of positives about the hotel, we had a good view of the sea, the pool is great, the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast very good. Its the little things that annoy, poor maintemce meaning the sliding balcony doors dont slide, sockets that didn't work and the lack of a hair dryer - there was one for the whole hotel available in reception.

The room is on the ground floor, with a swimming pool right outside the door. It's not far from the beach, but it's not suitable for swimming. The room facilities are OK, and the breakfast is good. The hotel I chose for transit in Negombo is roughly equivalent to the level of a three-star hotel in China. My booking is sea view, front desk assign a room with most of tree view include a little bit sea view to my deluxe room booking. After twice negotiated, finally I got the nice sea view room under my expectation, but the feeling is really bad. The location is inconvenient.
