Amazing hotel with a lot of care and thought put into the little details. Feels very unique with the suites having a very architectural type feel, example recsess in the bathroom for light features and shelving etc. the door however had an old rusty handle which would fault, locking you in! A very pleasant trip! Every staff member at the hotel was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Since it was our honeymoon, they even gave us a small cake! Nice stay for layover close to hotel

Great bed/mattress, breakfast was 1 day a la carte, and 1 day buffet. Breakfast was ok, but 20 dollars is overpriced for Sri Lanka standards. The airconditioning has 2 settings; OFF or freezing cold. The blankets are warm so it wasn't a big issue. The service was very chaotic. Offering coffee, and no action, and the billing system is a mess for example.

The room was clean, but the soundproofing was average. I was actually woken up by someone talking in the hallway at night. The hotel is a nice sourrounding, it is directly on the lagoon and just a small way away from the beach where you can look up the sunset very nice. The rooms are clean and have everything you need but also needs to get some renovations, Bed was comfortable. The pool is nice but the stairs inside very sharp, it’s bit dangerous.

The room is on the ground floor, with a swimming pool right outside the door. It's not far from the beach, but it's not suitable for swimming. The room facilities are OK, and the breakfast is good. There are steps from the lobby to the room. It's not far from the fish market, but it's too fishy and dirty.

The hotel I chose for transit in Negombo is roughly equivalent to the level of a three-star hotel in China. My booking is sea view, front desk assign a room with most of tree view include a little bit sea view to my deluxe room booking. After twice negotiated, finally I got the nice sea view room under my expectation, but the feeling is really bad. The location is inconvenient.

We stayed for 6 days and we were really looked after. The fact that they grow there own food and therefore was sustainable was a plus. We did have to request for the room to be cleaned. Most people seem to stay for one night on way to or from the airport, and thats enough. The room was well appointed but no outside view because the window was blocked by an unnecessay spa room. I think this hotel is already well known as a supportive environment for a solo female traveller.. so quite a few mothers and daughters. It is very beautifully and carefully designed aligned with Ayurvedic principles. It is a really good deal-£78 including breakfast and two hours of treatment which include massage and facial. Amazing stay, I was only here one night but the team organised to have my yoga session and treatments early in the morning as well late checkout so I could enjoy all the compliments of the stay while I had the time here. The room was large but rather basic; the floors and bathtub were all concrete and unglazed. The outdoor view was beautiful; the balcony door opened directly onto the sea, with vast expanses of land beyond. The children even saw lizards and monkeys. The price was cheaper than other hotels, making it good value for money.

This hotel is our first stop when we arrived in Sri Lanka. It's a pity that our flight arrived at night, so we felt the attentive service when we arrived at the hotel. When we got up the next morning to have breakfast, we were amazed by the large lawn and swimming pool. The environment is really good. It's a pity that we have to leave, otherwise swimming would definitely be a very happy thing 😄

Pros: The staff were friendly, attentive, and pleasant. Cons: There's no elevator, but the staff helped with luggage. Overall, it was great, but unfortunately, I arrived after 11 PM and left at 8 AM, leaving me no time to explore.
