We had our wedding reception at Olanro Banquet Hall, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and we received so many compliments from our invitees about the taste and quality. There were many varieties, and the buffet looked rich and impressive.
A special thank you to Mr. Ruwan, who was incredibly kind and helpful when choosing the menu. He went the extra mile by adding extra food varieties to make the buffet even more appealing and generous — something we truly appreciated.
Shout-out to Mithila as well, for doing a great job coordinating everything smoothly with us. His support and organization made the whole process stress-free.
Highly recommended Olanro Banquet Hall for anyone looking for great food and excellent service for a special occasion! 🌟

Excellent Banquet Experience & Outstanding Service

Hotel Olanro Banquet is an excellent venue for any special occasion. The banquet hall is spacious, well maintained, and beautifully arranged, creating a very pleasant and elegant atmosphere. The setup was organized perfectly and suited the event requirements.

The service was truly impressive. The staff were professional, courteous, and always attentive to guests’ needs. From the initial coordination to the end of the event, everything was handled smoothly and on time. The team was supportive, flexible, and ensured that every detail was taken care of.

Overall, Hotel Olanro Banquet delivers great value with high service standards. Highly recommended for weddings, corporate events, and family functions. We look forward to hosting future events here again.

Our room was compact and tidy. However, there was a drainage smell coming from the toilet. It was lingering in the bedroom too. Flaxhes of Air freshener spray couldn't overcome the smell. The TV was not functioning and the room boy couldn't fix it. No one else came to fix it either. They said that the breakfast ccould be served only at 8 am. So we left at 6am and had bbreakfast on the way. There was no one at the reception desk when we left. The security guard opened the barrier for us to leave. They have a lot to learn about hotel mamanagement. The plus points were the affordable room rate, clean swimming pool, under cover parking, and easy access from main road.

The hotel advertised a swimming pool, but when we arrived, we were told that the pool was cracked in several places. As a result, my friend injured her foot. Since we had chosen this hotel specifically to use the swimming pool, we asked for a partial refund so that we could book another hotel. The staff assured us that the money would be deposited into my account, but this never happened. I would not recommend this hotel.

After an overnight flight, we were looking for a hotel to rest and relax before starting our SL 8 days Tour. Saw this on AGODa with great price and booked it for 3 families. And I think we hit a jackpot in choosing this hotel. The hotel staff, especially Kasturi at the reception is an excellent customer service person. We arrived early to the hotel and the staff immediately gave us our rooms, upon request. The rooms are basic but well maintained. however we changed one of the room as the AC was not working properly and the hotel staff handled the request promptly. The pool looks very inviting, however, be careful as it has sharp edges and you might cut yourself. The staff informed us about the pool well in advance. The breakfast is basic but served with lots of first hand service. The staff really care about continuously improving their service and seems to genuinely care about their guests having a good time, offering extra support and advice. They are always open to have a chat and happy to receive any feedback with a smile. Overall, a good and pleasant stay and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

I am checking in 01/06/2024 @ 11:40.welcome was very good .We get 2 rooms but they are not informed about the Swimming Pool so very worst . On the same day some guests in the house were faced with the same thing that happened at night no one responded about our injury.Reception colleagues have failed to contact property owners or who is a responsibility on this property.Please billion time things before you book this property and use the pool. Thank you.

Friendly staff, nice food. The staff really care about continuously improving their service and seems to genuinely care about their guests having a good time, offering extra support and advice. They are always open to have a chat and happy to receive any feedback with a smile. Super comfortable bed and good size rooms. 10 mins walk from nice beaches and restaurants. I felt like home with a nice balance between a friendly atmosphere and relaxing privacy.
