An amazing stay with some amazing views and the Villa is located in the main city and the staffs are very friendly.

that was,one of the places in Sri Lanka you must visit.because super attractive location,and friendly staff my small vacation i have supper fun over there.

We have stayed 3 nights on this hotel last month.only 2rooms have the veiws.its also now bothered by a new hotel construction.rooms are large and comfortable. Also they have arranged portable heaters on our request . It is very obvious that glorious days of the hotel has been well passed away. Lot of Electrical maintenance has been neglected and as a result guests are suffering. During our stay we have noticed exhaust fan of the bathroom is not working, half of the lights on lobby area also not working. Lights of the staircase is also not working. Also we have experienced a blackout while our dinner due to a short circuit which was not recovered until dinner finished. We have finished our dinner under candles..!!

Food is average. They have delivered Sri Lankan food on request. But the Breakfast they provide is terrible 😖 portions are not enough at all. Taste is also 🤮.

The place is nice and clean. Has some beautiful view overlooking the Gregory Lake but there's new building coming up in front of the property which will cover some of it. Rooms are spacious and the bedding is comfy. They provide food and it's has the home made feel. It's located high up on the Unique View Road so it's a bit of a climb if you are getting there by foot.

That being said, I ran into multiple issue. They didn't have all the amenities provided in the room when I went there. Hot water was not working for some reason even after trying for 2 hours. When I made a complaint, the person who was attending at the time didn't respond in any useful way and said that he doesn't know how it works. I could not take a shower for over 2 hours. Heating was not provided even though advertised and when I asked for heating, they only gave a blanket.

The manager called on the next morning to apologise and offered lunch.

It's a good place. But the staff needs proper hospitality training. They ruined my vacation. I wouldn't mind coming again, granted that the staff is professional and well trained in hospitality and the operation of the hotel. And do not give dirty plates and chipped coffee cups to your customers for the love of God. Those are just common sense.

Fantastic architecture, nice welcome from personnel. Money has been put to create the place but the finish touch is missing and the place is not really managed.
