Araliya Red hotel, Nuwara Eliya ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Stunning hotel in a beautiful town.
Grand entrance with welcoming staff. Not pushy, just genuine lovely people. Easy check in system. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Fan/aircon worked beautifully and was so quite.
Spa services were offered on check in, we booked a massage and it was delightful and well priced, with wonderful staff. Food was delicious and service was beyond exceptional. The indoor pool and pool attendant was fabulous, was just what we needed to relax. This was our favorite hotel out of the 6 we stayed in on our tour. Wish we could have stayed for days!

The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, which made the stay pleasant in many ways.
However, the welcome and reception experience was very unpleasant. There were many staff members present at the reception area, but no one greeted or assisted us when we arrived. As a group of around 150 guests, we expected better coordination and hospitality, but unfortunately the service was poor at the reception.
Additionally, the amenities appear old and some are broken, which was disappointing. Maintenance and upgrades would greatly improve the overall experience.
The service during dinner and breakfast was also very poor. There were very few service staff available, and guests had to request items one by one, which took a long time. This made the dining experience frustrating.

Let me first say that the rooms here were huge and very spacious. And thats where the good part of the hotel ends.
I stayed here for two nights with my family and was utterly disappointed after half an hour of entering the place.
The hotel is huge, one of the biggest in Nuwara Eliya, they have big rooms, nice indoor pool but the service is just non existent. Its not just bad, its not present. You have to call them 3 times and then complain at reception and still the room is not cleaned. Room service menu is greag but nothing is available. For my kid, the only thing to eat with rice they offered was curd. Not a single dish or curry. Staff is lost. They cater to a lot of large groups and thats why for a single traveller, they just dont care.
Two days we were served exactly swme breakfast, not a single item was different, including the desserts and breads. Very off putting experience for us.

We had an incredible stay at Araliya Red.The room was spotless, the big bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the little touches (like the chocolate ) made a huge difference. The design is modern and chic, the WiFi was lightning fast, and the shower pressure was amazing.

The morning spread at the place was easily the highlight of our stay. The variety was staggering—ranging from a full station of fresh fruit platter, cocunut roti, Egg hoppers, fish curry. If you're looking for top-tier service, this is the place. Exceeded expectations in every way. Highly recommend for leisure travelers. 10/10!"

We had a very pleasant stay and truly felt it was great value for money. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team created an excellent first impression. The security staff were also very friendly and professional, which made us feel welcome and safe.
The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the meals were enjoyable throughout our stay.
A special mention goes to Mr. Mukarram from the restaurant. His constant smile, friendliness, and professionalism really stood out. He provided the same high level of service to every table, both at dinner and breakfast, without exception.
Even during busy hours, the staff never seemed to compromise on service standards. They handled everything with care and did their very best to ensure guests were happy.
Overall, a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel is just average, but the breakfast is good. Book Green instead; I wouldn't recommend this one for the same price.
