Good Karma Hotel in Tangalle

The hotel was exactly what we wanted. By a totally untouched beach far away from everything and very private. The spa treatments were amazing and the food at the hotel restaurant excellent. The breakfast provided was also very nice. A special thanks to the amazing staff, everyone was so friendly and the service gets 10/10 points. The hotel organized a lovely last dinner for us. They really go the extra mile to make your stay incredible and pay attention to all the small details. This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at (rooms, service, facilities etc.)

The resort is great! Amazing service, they left flowers for my birthday and prepared a cake ❤️ You could start your day with yoga at 8 for free and enjoy the pool and the nature sounds. The last jewel is the dinner on the beach they arrange for your final night

Amazing place! The staff, hospitality, rooms and private access beach were undeniable incredible. The staff looked after us and ensured we had a great time. We will definitely be back to stay in one of their private villas that have a private pool set up. 10/10 recommend. The only con is the narrow road that leads to the property.

We were on a family trip to this place. The road is not so good if you are travelling with a small car. Anyways difficult roads leads to beautiful places. Location is absolutely breathtaking with private beach area. Perfect getaway from busy environment to chill near the beach.
Rooms are spacious with a comfy bed. You can spend a relaxing vacation. Cant really comment on food because only had breakfast from there and it was okay.
The manager guy is really helpfull and always available.

We booked a romantic private villa with its own pool for 3 nights. We had the choice to pick between 2 villas and both of them were great! The infrastructure is modern and cozy.
The whole staff is extremely nice and there was a free yoga session with the owner every morning at 8. Breakfast was included, and it was tasty. I would recommend to try the Sri lanka breakfast because it was delicious! The beach is clear blue and clean. Also, we did see monkeys from our open shower :) At the last day, the staff surprised us with a romantic dinner on the beach with complementary drinks and a desert. The only downside is that the place is quite far out of everything. It was extremely nice to stay there and I would recommend everyone to visit this place as I can talk about how great it is for hours :)

Great hotel, excellent cuisine, friendly staff, hospitable hosts! Huge deserted beach (2.5 km each way). There is a freshwater lagoon nearby, and you can fish in it. Locals can arrange a raft ride. Large iguanas (two meters long), huge flocks of various birds, two large families of monkeys are found in the lagoon ... Local species of squirrels jump right on the territory of the hotel and sea turtles hatch (how lucky with turtles ... this does not happen often, but we were lucky). You can also arrange for a small fee to rent a scooter. Within a half hour radius - Kalametya bird sanctuary, Hummanaya Blow Hole Natural Sea Fountain, Madunagala Hot Springs hot springs... In general, you can see a bunch of places within a radius of 250-300 km on a scooter. The cuisine is delicious, and the chef is ready at your request to cook everything at the right time and in the right quantity (one serving was enough for two of us). Warns when fresh fish or crabs are brought. In addition, if you buy fish from fishermen while walking along the beach, he will cook it for you almost for free! PS Be sure to take a kite or kite with you! There is a great breeze on the beach! By the way, the staff helped us with materials (cellophane film, adhesive tape, twine) and we made it ourselves! He flew, but not really. In general, launching a kite is a national pastime for local boys! In the sky you can see several dozen at the same time!

Lovely hotel, everything in it is excellent: rooms, staff, grounds, beach, food. Keep in mind, Tangalle beach with big waves, you won't be able to swim, just go up to your waist. The prices in the restaurant are normal, there is nothing outside the territory, and it is not necessary. The main vacationers are solid couples 35+. If silence, relaxation and big waves are to your liking, you will not find better.

Great place. Absolutely away from the trouble of the city. Nice rooms, some with seaview. Try to book the ones closest to the sea. Restaurant was unfortunately bad.. Staff was slow and rudea and food was average. Breakfast was good, dinner under average (my jumbo shrimp were mini shrimp out of the freezer).. but price was for jumbo shrimp. There is a lot to eat in the city. Beach was beautifully quiet and great. A nice place to relax for a few days, maybe before or after visiting the national parks!

Beautiful small Hotel at an absolute quiet beach. The breakfast is very good but for dinner I would recommend to go out.
