Happy Bay in Weligama

Fully private property. Book only for guest. Locals can not acesss. Nice view love to visit but no chances.

It's a private property so no one is allowed inside. But around looks really nice. There is a boat guy who takes you around the island. Inside there is a house which is barely can be seen from outside.

The 1st day in Weligama looking for a good restaurant. That's what we found. Stay Ceylon hotel and restaurant. We had a delicious meal here for 5 days. Different dishes each time and all equally delicious. The cook understands his profession very much. The crew is very welcoming and caring for the customers. This restaurant is highly recommended! Delicious food with personal attention!

We had the most amazing stay at Stay Ceylon in Weligama over the school half term break. The hotel is right across from the beach and has such a relaxed, friendly vibe. The staff were incredible – nothing was ever too much trouble. They helped us find a brilliant surf club for our boys, organised trips to the tea plantations and local sights, and made every part of our stay so easy. The food was delicious, the rooms were beautiful and spacious with stunning views, and little touches like fresh coconut water waiting for us on arrival made it feel so special. We honestly didn’t want to leave and can’t recommend it enough!
