I could offer a laundry service there
The owner was so kind and he took me to Ella
Also he knew a good place to surf and he took me to get there by tuktuk

We booked a room with “fan only” and it was way too hot. Ask the owner for a remote and pay for the additional 1000 LKR — it’ll be worth it. We had ants all over our room, do not leave any food in the room. They’re charging way too much for the condition of the place and rooms. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Lovely guest house! The room was perfect and had lots of space and good air conditioning. 2 very large double beds for 2 people was a luxury! Location very close to the beach - within 5 mins. The family were so welcoming and made us a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. We used their taxi service to drive to Ella also. Would 100% recommend!

We loved our stay at Calidan and spent 11 nights there. The host family was kind and we learned a lot about Sri Lanka and their culture. The made us a delicious breakfast each morning during our stay. The location is excellent, a short walk to the beach both for waves or the coral reef swimming pool. Also, close to restaurants and grocery store. The host also drove us all the way to Ella! Arranging a safari tour in Udawalawe along the way. We will be returning soon!

This place very nice. We have enjoyed very well. Family run business. They are very helpful. Everything this very good.I recommeded to this place. 100m away from the beach. Here we have lot of experiences.Whales & dolphins watching, turtles watching etc. l like this place.

The staff is absolutely rude! They don't know how to treat clients at all, the place was filthy! The sink was broken, bidet didn't work, sheets were dirty, horrible smell, they kicked me out because I was asking why the floor was wet? I was alone there! And I paid so much money to get to this place, first people in Sri Lanka that were so rude and humilliator, I really hope nobody stays in here!
