Sea Zone Resort in Mirissa

room dirty, bed bugs, electricity off everytime we turn on ac and water heater at same time. different with photo

We had booked a room with a balcony a couple days ahead. Got there, everything seemed great. We filled out our forms and we took our bags to the room and the room seemed really nice. 5 minutes later the guy who gave us the room came. Said there had been a mistake and our room was in the villa. We tought sure i guess. We asked if its as good as this one, he said yes. We saw two white ladies leave the room he took us to. The room was dark and on the first floor with no balcony. There was two big beds for the two of us. And dark small windows. We said that we booked a room with balcony ( the one we were just at). And he said that some other ladies who came there a few minutes after us are already in that room. He said that they called the manager ahead and they want that room. He said we can stay in the worse room for the same money. And then maybe tomorrow or next day we can get the balcony. We were gonna stay 5 days but the ladies were gonna stay one night and then leave. What absurdity. We decided to leave and they promised to call us the next day when room was open. The call never came and our reservation got cancelled. Luckily we hadnt payed yet.

It really seemed like the white ladies got treated way better and got our room we were already in, just because my boyfriend is algerian we got treated worse.

Luckily we found a way better hotel just down the street with way better customer service.

Also in the dark room the bedsheets had multiple stains on them.

The guy working apologised but we still lost our room and days walking past the hotel we saw that the ladies still had things in the balcony.
