Deltapark Vitalresort in Thun

This hotel is truly a fantastic property and exceeded expectations in every way. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and the lakefront location creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The location is also perfect for exploring the Bernese Oberland and makes an excellent base for visiting Switzerland overall.

The spa is wonderful — perfectly maintained, calming, and ideal for unwinding. What really makes the experience special, though, is the staff: warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive throughout the stay.

The rooms are extremely comfortable, with very cozy beds and all the amenities you could need. Everything is designed to guarantee a quiet stay and truly restful nights.

Breakfast was outstanding, with a selection easily comparable to a 5-star offering — high quality, fresh, and with plenty of choice.

Dinner was equally impressive. The meal was delicious, and I would like to especially thank Jana for her outstanding service — professional, kind, and attentive. The chef was also incredibly kind and took great care in accommodating my food allergies, which I truly appreciated.

I would definitely return and would absolutely recommend this hotel without hesitation.

“Vitalresort” is the perfect name for this wellness oasis on the shores of Lake Thun. The rooms are spacious and offer a magnificent view of the lake or the breathtaking Stockhorn mountain range. I spent 12 days in winter at this fantastic place. In the well-maintained wellness and sauna area, I quickly recovered from the pains of my shoulder surgery. There are two swimming pools at the hotel: a spacious indoor pool with warm salt water and a smaller outdoor pool with warm water. Both pools are very clean, never crowded, and a special treat. There is also a Finnish sauna, a herbal sauna, a steam bath, and a creative cooling area with spring mist, ice mist, autumn rain, and a summer thunderstorm shower (warm). I was pampered by the staff (almost like the cute cat – her name is “Bubu” – who lives in the hotel lobby). The restaurant meets the highest standards. Thanks to the rich breakfast buffet and the chef's creativity at dinner, I had to visit the hotel's well-equipped fitness room every day to stay in shape. The landscape around the hotel is ideal for hiking, even in winter. A hiking trail leads along the lake shore to Thun. And if that's not enough variety for you, you can take the cable car up to the Stockhorn, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps and the Bernese Oberland. In short, a stay at Deltapark is an real energy boost. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have spent the weekend there and cannot have enough positive words about this place, it has been an absolute pleasure!

As soon as we arrived, there was the sweetest receptionist, who explained us everything perfectly and with a lot of patience. We then went to the room and were impressed, beds were also really confortable!

We went to the spa and could enjoy the sauna, hammam, indoor and outdoor pool… everything was perfect!

Lastly, we decided we wanted to have dinner there, what a delicious dinner and what a wonderful and warm staff working there!

This morning we enjoyed the breakfast (such a big variety of things to choose, and everything delicious) and the spa again to end our weekend the best way possible, and again, the receptionists were lovely during the check out.

What a nice spa hideout long weekend we had! A walk along the lake, a drink at lounge bar, deep relaxing sauna and massage. The service team are so friendly and helpful. High quality breakfast and dinner. Small and thought design in hotel. Nothing extravagant but everything heart felt and welcoming. Location in quiet nature. We will definitely go back.

Superb wellness hotel near Thun. Got a nice 20% discount package for a 2 day stay + half board at the Sportshaus (just next to the main building). Service very good, food fantastic. Lounge was comfortable and had good vibes.

Spa was excellent, I particularly enjoyed the steam room, 80C sauna, wet sauna. Just a very minor point - the 80C sauna steam infusion button didn't work regularly (it worked once then did not after pressing it again).

Will hopefully be back!

I loved my stay, the amenities are excellent, the place is meticulous, and probably the quietest hotel room I have ever experienced. I already look forward to my visit in 2022

The spa is nice. They have a small corner with tea and no cookies.. I’m very hungry .. I need cookies! Who drinks tea without cookies????????

Awesome therme and salty pools! We spent a rainy evening from 18:00 to 21:00 there and enjoyed every moment at Deltapark and the surroundings. Price 35 CHF / person for 3 h, including 2 towels and bathrobe. Just perfect!
