Les Arcades Geneva in Geneva

Right opposite the station and on the second floor- it could do with a sign on the lift indicating where reception is! Having said that ,the receptionist was helpful and showed us to out room which was warm and compact - the furniture was lovely ,old and interesting - handy for a walk to the lake and plenty of eateries available

Fantastic location just opposite the main central train station. It was very convenient and I would stay there again if I were to return to Geneva. The city is very expensive however the hotel was very reasonably priced yet in such a good location.

Undoubtedly the best location you can get if you are arriving/leaving from the Geneva train station. When you are travelling with 2-3 luggages, every minute of spent walking with them is taxing and take times away from your vacation. The room is adequate for a few nights. Service is friendly and always ready to prove. Unless your budget is 3-5 times larger and you are willing to spend at one of the posh hotels in the city, consider staying here and give yourself a peace of mind.

Good hotel very close to the train station Cornavin. The location is very convenient. The hotel is situated on the second floor of what seems to be an office building. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was rather basic, but clean and the bed was very good. I always appreciate it when there is more than one pillow available. The bathroom was ok. Not a big fan though of taking a shower in a bath tub with a shower curtain. The breakfast buffet was rather limited, but we could boil some eggs and they offered a nice selection of cheeses and charcuterie. There is no natural light in the breakfast area. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel les Arcades is a boutique style hotel conveniently located across from the train station: it is a three minute walk to the pier, a short walk into the old town, and an easy trolley ride to downtown destinations. The hotel is well maintained and surprisingly quiet and the staff wonderfully kind and attentive. The excellent breakfast is generally served starting at 7 am. Our group had an early rehearsal at the convention center, so the staff prepared breakfast for us at 6:30 am, which we greatly appreciated. On my departure day, I had to leave for the airport at 5 am: the staff prepared a lovely breakfast for me at 4:45. It's personal attention like that sets this hotel apart. We felt fortunate to book Hotel les Arcades and couldn't have been more delighted.

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Comftable bed, reasonable sized room and very good breakfast, good value for money. Great location just across the raod from the station, very handy for trips around Geneva as we could cross the road to pick a tram or bus.

Hotel Les Arcades really surprised us and was the perfect place to rest for a one night stay for my daughter and I. Its perfect location is exactly in front of Gare Cornavin Train Station, and a short walk down to the beautiful lake and other places of interest. Don’t be put off by the doorway in-between shops and having other businesses on different floors, this place is a little gem and great value for money. Once you come out of the lift and turn right, it has such a welcoming feel. Behind the reception desk is an area with tables where you can have breakfast or grab a free hot drink and sit and chat with other guests, and just off this area is some of the rooms. Our twin room was spacious, very clean and the bed very comfy, with lovely big windows, our view wasn’t great but I still liked to be able to let some fresh air in. There was also a mini fridge so you could grab a few bits and bobs from the supermarket to snack on and keep the costs down. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was cold meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, fruit, eggs, bread, croissants, cereal plus drinks so there was something for everyone, even my quite fussy daughter enjoyed it and it was topped up as soon as it run low. Thank you, We really enjoyed our overnight stay and will definitely be coming back.

A lovely hotel! Perfect location and decent price. We stayed there for only one night but the staff were really helpful. The staff are generous and friendly. Highly recommended for a short term stay.
