Spent 4 days in this lovely hotel with half pension. It was centrally located in a quiet part of this classic Swiss town. The staff was friendly, the rooms very clean and included a convenient ski room with benches for putting on boots. Breakfast was excellent with fresh bread, rolls and croissants. Excellent choice of meats, cheeses, jams, fresh butter, yogurt and fresh fruit. Excellent fresh eggs could be made in an egg cooker. And the evening meals were also delicious and generous in portions. We enjoyed all the meals which included fresh salad, soup, a main dish with vegetables and a yummy homemade dessert. We all truly enjoyed our experience. One of our friends had never been to Switzerland - and Hotel zur Sonne was an excellent introduction! Thank you all very much!

Sonne Andermatt is an adorable local hotel with clean, comfortable rooms. The hotel has a restaurant on site for guests to enjoy dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed our overnight stay.

Kind and welcoming staff. Fresh room, with great storage for hikers, cyclists and skiers. Best charging plugs and outlets we’ve found on our entire trip, very useful!! Restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced compared to other options around town. Breakfast was traditional Euro continental so no bacon but cold meats, delicious cheeeses, and boiled egg station. On our way out they let us store our bags, and recommended a great spot for our picnic!! 5 stars!!

we have eaten here many times over many year and pleased to say after a dropin quality last year it was excellent this year good food smart service and good menu Good to have the restaurant back to its former quality we will be back next year Keep it up

Had an excellent dinner there with friends and family. Great location, comfortable dining room, excellent service. Food was exceptionally well prepared and tasted wonderful. I can highly recommend having dinner there. Congratulations to Steffen and your team!

Great stay!
This place was so cozy and welcoming. The staff was very kind and the room was clean and inviting. It’s a bit of a walk from the train station, but well worth it.

I like the cabin room in this hotel very much
This is one of those rare hotels where the real experience is better than the photos
The room is very large and you can see the snow-capped mountains outside the window.
The small restaurant is very cozy
Breakfast style is very rich
Especially like the hot chicken nuggets
The service staff are very polite
A comfortable place, but it’s a pity that I only stayed for one night this time

I really liked the food in the restaurant. It's a nice place to come with a couple friends, the atmosphere is very cosy and home like. It feels like a restaurant in a typical small Swiss town.
