Second night, came back to room at 6pm because I wanted to go to the spa early. Then the bathroom light suddenly auto-turned off with that super annoying “si si si” sound and kept flashing nonstop.
Called front desk, some guy said “ok we send someone”. We stayed inside the room waiting because we didn’t want any staff entering when we’re not there.
Waited 1 hour – nobody came.
Called again – “coming soon”
Another 1 hour passed, still nobody!!!
We went down to reception ourselves at 8pm, ONLY THEN they finally sent maintenance. He checked for 2 seconds, said “I know the problem, I go fix it”… then disappeared.
Waited yet another 1 hour, called again at 9pm – they said “no one is coming anymore” and offered to CHANGE ROOM?? At 9pm?? You expect us to pack everything and move right now?? Are you serious??
So we wasted 3 whole hours just sitting in the room waiting for nothing!! Completely missed the spa because of your broken light and even worse service.
If you can’t fix it, just say so! Don’t keep lying “coming soon” “we send someone” and then ghost us!!

Customer service attitude was absolutely terrible. Super disappointed and angry. Never coming back.
Parking has no roof and it's not in a convenient location.
Not recommend this hotel. This is not a.4 star hotel either. And very overpriced
Right outside the train station, excellent service and delicious food, Sauna n steam facilities, massive room and bathroom with all the immunities slippers, bathrobe, etc
View is a 10 on 10 all three sides. It’s a paradise to look out of the window when you get up in the morning, I shall be staying at this place if I ever return to Grindelwald.
